Tanya R. King, a work in progress, born and raised in the heart of Detroit, MI, by my wonderful and blessed mother. Middle child of seven, I love every member of my family.  I cherish and honor my position as a child of God.  I love reading the word of God, and I love our Father. I adore dogs, and love the mountains.  I’m a big kid at heart, and enjoy being outdoors.  Taking the opportunity to do fun things such as volleyball, roller coaster rides, bike riding, walking, watching or going to a football game, will always keep a smile on my face.

Four years cancer free, I currently live in Vegas, Nevada.  I absolutely love the long summers!  I attend Victory Missionary Baptist Church, and volunteer as a leader for children’s ministry, for grades K-5.

Knowing who I am in Christ, and whose I am, assures me of the power that is within me. The power that God has given me.  I am a child of God.  God ordained me.  God adopted me, and made me joint heirs with Christ.  I am fearfully and wonderfully made!   I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me.
