Through Prayer

God has the power to heal and change circumstances.

He has also allowed you, his children, to participate in the process, through prayer.

James 5:16 (KJV) – confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Think On It

Carefully think before you make a decision.

Because there are consequences in every decision.

Our Father will discipline you, just as a father discipline his son.

Deuteronomy 8:5-6 (KJV) – thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.

Be Impressed

We are always so impressed with others.

Try being impressed with God for his mercy and faithfulness towards you.

They are new . . . Every morning!

Lamentations 3:22 (KJV) – it is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Life In This Life

In baptism, you die to sin, and live in Christ.

Therefore, you haven’t lived, until you’ve died.

There is life after death, in this life.

Romans 6:4,7 (KJV) – therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life. For he that is dead is freed from sin.
