When we hear the word of God and don’t do them, we make our lives so much worst for ourselves.
Matthew 7:26-27 (KJV) – and every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the wind’s blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
There are so many that are followers of this world. That’s why, the way to it, is so much wider.
Which leads to destruction.
Matthew 7:13 (KJV) – enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.
Wisdom is key. We are to get it and apply it.
And with everything you get, get understanding.
Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) – wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
We are chastised by our Father when we do wrong, because He loves us.
Just as you chastise your children, because you love them.
Proverbs 3:12 (KJV) – for whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
We can’t do too much wrong that we can’t come to God for repentance.
If you come to God, he will come to you.
Noone is exempt.
James 4:8 (KJV) – draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
If you believe on Jesus, you and your household are saved.
Acts 16:31 (KJV) – and they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Husbands, honor your wife.
If you don’t, your prayers are delayed or not even answered.
I Peter 3:7 (KJV) – likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
If we know the truth, we have been set free.
Act like it!
John 8:36 ( KJV) – if the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
If someone is a fault, you as Christians, are to restore the other person by being gentle with them.
Keep in mind, one day, you will be at fault.
Galatians 6:1 (KJV) – brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness: considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
If you can hand over your worries to someone, and don’t have to worry about them anymore, would you?
That is exactly what our Father wants you to do.
I Peter 5:7 (KJV) – casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
