When we pray, most of the time, we do all the talking.

Jesus has something to say. God said, listen to Him.

Matthew 17:5 (KJV) – while he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice of the cloud, which said, This is me beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

When we stumble more times than often, it’s because we’re in the dark.

God’s word is the light. Get in it!

Psalm 119:105 (KJV) – thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Some believe, those things that were done to Jesus, will not be done to them. Because, that was then.

Think again . . .

John 15:20 (KJV) – remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

God said, if you tithe, I will bless you.

You want to prove Him wrong?

He said, prove him NOW.

Malachi 3:10 (KJV) – bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Give to the poor.

There’s a curse, and not just one, if you don’t.

Proverbs 28:27 ( KJV) – he that giveth unto the poor shall not lack; but he that hide his eyes shall have many a curse.

God sent Jesus into the world to save us, through Christ. Not to condemn us

Stop condemning yourself.

John 3:17 (KJV) – for God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

God didn’t make women first to keep Adam from being lonely, He made him animals

Genesis 2:18-19 (KJV) – and the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Save a soul, and hide a multitude of sins, by bringing someone back to the word of God.

James 5:19-20 (KJV) – brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Pride keeps us from praying for others, as well as confessing to others our wrong.

There’s great effect and power in a righteous person’s prayer.

James 5:16 (KJV) – confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
