Take Back Whats Yours

Why are we so afraid of doing the right thing? Most of the time, it’s because of peer pressure, which is a very unhealthy addiction.

We worry about what others think, and what they will say. When we concern ourselves with the thoughts of what man thinks, we have given them power over us. No one can take our power unless we allow it. Each time we don’t do the right thing because of what one may say or think, we have given up our power.

You are a child of God. You belong to God our Father. He is your Father. Your concern is with God, not man.

Kick the peer pressure addiction, stop being afraid of man, take back what’s yours — your power, know who you are, and whose you are. Trust God and step out on faith. He got you, in more ways than you can imagine!

Mark 4:40 (KJV) – and he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

I Corinthians 9:12 (KJV) – if others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.

Romans 8:16 (KJV) – the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.

Hebrews 13:6 (KJV) – so that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Mark 11:22 (KJV) – and Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Ephesians 3:12 (KJV) – in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

The Next Time You Threaten Someone

We’ve been there on both sides of the table — being threatened or threatening someone. “Do it, and see if I” . . . or, “if you don’t, I will . . . ”

Who do we think we are? The next time you decide you want to threaten someone, or when someone threatens you, remember, all threats are void if God is for you, therefore, no one can be against you.

Romans 8:31 (KJV) – what shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Keep Your Rocks In Your Pocket

We are quick to prove you’re guilty first, before the facts. But the worst part is, we condemn you, and hope others condemn you as well.

He who is without sin let him cast the first stone.

Before you start mouthing off about what so-and-so did, think about what you did. Look at yourself first before you start knocking someone down, and tearing them apart with strong words. No matter how BIG or small the sin, its still a sin.

Keep your rocks in your pocket and stop condemning others. If you don’t, you will be condemned. We do a good enough job of condemning our own selves.

Ask for forgiveness for the other person . . . and then forgive yourself.

John 8:7 (KJV) – so when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

II Corinthians 13:5 (KJV) – examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

I John 5:17(KJV) – all unrighteousness is sin; and there is a sin not unto death.

Luke 6:37 (KJV) – judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

Everywhere You Go

Would you find it annoying, if someone followed you everywhere, I mean, everywhere you went? When people see you, they see the other person also.

Our Father is with you everywhere you go. And I truly mean– everywhere you go. He doesnt follow you, but He is with you.

The big question is . . . when people see you, do they see God also?

Hebrews 13:5 (KJV) – let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have : for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

II Thessalonians 1:12 (KJV) – that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Why You Didnt Answer My Prayer

We pray for things and expect them to be answered without trying to understand God or how he operates. So we ask the question; Lord, why you didn’t answer my prayer?

God has a way with everything. And if we read his word, he will show us. How can we learn to understand the word of God, if we don’t read it?

God’s ways are not our ways, and his thoughts are not our thoughts. Thank God! He knows what’s best for us.

When you pray for something and God did not give you what you wanted, the problem is not with God, but in your understanding of His deliverance.

Isaiah 55:8 (KJV) – for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) – wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Rejoicing In The Lost And Found

Have you ever lost something of value, and hoped that you could find it?

You get frustrated trying to figure out where and how you lost it. You put on your thinking cap, rewind in your mind where you were, and start back-tracking. All the while you’re searching, you’re not so happy. But, then you find it . . . and your happy and full of joy . . . hoping that you never lose it again!

That’s the way it is with our Heavenly Father. When we put others and things before him, we are lost to this world. We are like lost sheep.

You are valuable to God. When you start seeking God, and His righteousness, He rejoices because his lost sheep is now found!

Luke 15:8-10 (KJV) – either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbors together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

It Is God’s Will

Most of us live our lives believing we are suppose to live in lack. We want, but we don’t believe it’s God’s will for us to have things.

God’s word says; that we may lack for nothing, and that he came so that we may have life and have it more abundantly. That means, he doesn’t want us lacking. He wants us to ask him for what we want. He also said, He will give us the desires of our heart, if we delight ourselves in him.

None of this sounds like God wants us to live lacking anything. That’s satan trying to make you believe you shouldn’t be blessed.

Don’t believe the lies of satan — Ask God, wait on the Lord, and live your life in abundance! It is God’s will!

I Thessalonians 4:12 (KJV) – that he may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

John 10:10 (KJV) – the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Luke 11:9 (KJV) – and I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Psalm 37:4 (KJV) – delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Do You Hear That

Do you hear God speaking to you? Do you hear a voice from within? Do you know if, and when God is speaking to you?

Most believe, if you heard it three times, it’s the truth. Well, that can be misleading. If it’s not the truth of God, it’s the wrong thing.

God has ways of speaking to you. He does it through others, through circumstances, and through His word. You just have to pay attention and hear what God is saying to you.

Mark 4:23-24 (KJV) – if any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And he said unto them, Take heed what he hear: with what measure he mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

Youre A Liar

Ok, don’t get in your feelings and get offended . . . but it’s the truth.

We are all liars. And if you say that you are not – that is satan, and you are lying. You are deceiving yourself, and calling God a liar.

Not one of us are good. Not you, not me. Not one. If you are standing or sitting, reading this and say you are good – you are lying. There is nothing good in the flesh. But, we are perfect in God.

We all fall short of God’s glory. That’s why Jesus died for us. Jesus saved us from our sinful ways.

God said it. . . I didn’t.

Thank you Jesus!

I John 1:8-10 (KJV) – if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Psalm 14:3 (KJV) – they are all gone aside, they are altogether become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Deuteronomy 18:13 (KJV) – thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.

Psalm 38:3 (KJV) – there is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

Romans 3:23 (KJV) – for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

II Timothy 1:9 (KJV) – who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

I Dont Feel It

We try to believe God by what we feel, which is our flesh.

We can be mislead by our feelings. If we go by what we feel, our belief system will be like a dysfunctional thermostat. Hot, cold, just right. Then cold, just right, then hot again. This type of dysfunction, which are our feelings, leads to confusion and frustration.

Most believe, if we don’t feel it, we don’t believe it. Faith is not feelings, but truth. There is no confusion or frustration in truth. Neither can you do anything against the truth.

Our belief system should be trusting in God and in his word. God’s word is the truth. Your faith comes by hearing the word of God. Walk by faith.

I Corinthians 14:33 (KJV) – for God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

II Corinthians 13:8 (KJV) – for we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

John 17:17 (KJV) – sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Romans 10:17 (KJV) – so then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

II Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) – for we walk by faith, not by sight.
