We lift up ourselves by wearing pride with honor.

Wear humility, and God will lift you up.

James 4:10 (KJV) – humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

We do what we want to do and do what we shouldn’t.

But what you should do, you don’t want to do.

Stop giving permission to satan.

Romans 7:15-16 (KJV) – for that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

If we say we live in God, because we do, we ought to act like it.

I John 2:6 (KJV) – he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Although we fail ourselves, God will never fail us.

He is your strength and your all-in-all.

Psalm 73:26 (KJV) – my flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

We sometimes get tired of helping others.

Don’t be tired of doing good.

II Thessalonians 3:13 (KJV) – but ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

If you keep God’s commandments and do what He loves, He will give you what you ask for.

I John 3:22 (KJV) – and whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

We all died because of Adam.

But because of Jesus Christ, we all shall live.

I Corinthians 15:22 (KJV) – for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Most think God is far away from us.

He is close . . . to all who truthfully call on Him.

Psalm 145: 17 (KJV) – the Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

Our lives are so weighed down with sin, we can’t run the race God has for you.

Let it go and patiently run the race set before you.

Hebrews 12:1 (KJV) – wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

To fear God is to reference Him.

He hears the cries of those who fear Him.

He will save you and give you what your heart desire.

Psalm 145:19 (KJV) – He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
