If you’re unstable in your faith, you’re unstable in everything.

James 1:8 (KJV) – a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

We want things our way, and we want it NOW.

WAIT on the Lord and His guidance.

You will be blessed.

Isaiah 30:18 (KJV) – and therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

Faith and unbelief don’t mix.

Unwavering faith receives nothing.

James 1:6-7 (KJV) – but let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

If you expect your faith to bring you a spouse without doing anything to get one, that’s not faith.

Faith alone is dead faith.

You have to work your faith.

James 2:17 (KJV) – even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

God’s grace toward us is a gift.

You can’t work for it.

It’s a gift!

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) – for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any many should boast.

Even the best of us have this notion that they chose God.

Let’s get it straight . . . God chose you.

John 15:16 (KJV) – ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Do you love God?

If you do, keep His commandments.

John 14:15 (KJV) – if ye love me, keep my commandments.

It pleases God very much when we are obedient to our parents.

Colossians 3:20 (KJV) – children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

Just as Christ forgave you, you can forgive others.

You’re gonna want it when the shoe is on the other foot.

Forgive!

Colossians 3:13 (KJV) – forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

We proclaim others to be our everything.
