We don’t just live by what we eat, but by every word spoken by God.

Matthew 4:4 (KJV) – but he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

We want to do good, but do the very thing we shouldn’t do.

Romans 7:19 (KJV) – for the good that I would do I do not; but the evil which I would not, that I do.

We take matters into our own hands because we don’t trust God to avenge others like we would.

That’s when things go sideways.

It’s not your place to avenge others. It belongs to God.

He will repay.

Romans 12:19 (KJV) – dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves,  but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written,  Vengeance is mine; I will repay,  saith the Lord.

We all have been given gifts and received them.

They are not for yourselves but used for servanthood to help others.

I Peter 4:10 (KJV) – as every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Prioritize doing the will of God, and prepare yourself for the blessings of God.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) – but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Kind words make the heart glad.

But when a man’s heart is worried, it weighs him down.

Proverbs 12:25 (KJV) – heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

If you confess your wrongdoing to God, He’ll forgive you and cleanse you from all your sin.

I John 1:9 (KJV) – if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The Lord’s mercies toward us are new every morning.

Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV) – it is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Some believe man made earth.

What was man standing on when he made it?

The very first words of the bible tell you that God made the earth AND the heaven.

Genesis 1:1 (KJV) – in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Most don’t feel the need to worship or serve.

Yet we seem to think, when we do, it’s for man.

You are to only worship and serve God.

Matthew 4:10 (KJV) – then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
