Some think they are tempted by God, but God will not tempt you.

God can’t be tempted with evil.

God knew you before you were born.

He adopted you for himself.

For His good pleasure, not yours.

Ephesians 1:5 (KJV) – having predestinated us unto the adoption of children of Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.

The flesh and the Spirit never see eye to eye.

The flesh doesn’t want you to do the will of God.

Galatians 5:17 (KJV) – for the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

God gives you opportunities to do good for someone.

Don’t make excuses, do it!

Galatians 6:10 (KJV) – as we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

God is not slow.

You’re just impatient.

II Peter 3:8 (KJV) – but, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

When you pray to our Father in secret, to Him only, He will reward you in the presents of others.

Matthew 6:6 (KJV) – but thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

We cherish material things more than the word of God.

Whatever you cherish, that is where your heart is.

Luke 12:34 (KJV) – for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Forgive others without any excuses.

Our Father will forgive you.

Matthew 6:14 (KJV) – for if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

We must learn to stop being afraid of so many things.

What do you really have to be afraid of when the One who controls everything is on your side.

Psalm 27:1 (KJV) – the Lord is my light and salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Regardless of the circumstances, a child of God will have goodness and mercy every day.

Psalm 23:6 (KJV) – surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
