With every temptation, God gives us a way to escape it.

Stop being weak . . . Fight!

I Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) – there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Man say, faith is receiving, then believe it.

Faith is believing God for what you hope for, even though you don’t see it.

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) – now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

We complain about what we don’t have.

But don’t thank God for what you do have.

Recognize and thank God for it all.

I Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV) – in every thing give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

There is much to gain if you have both godliness and contentment.

I Timothy 6: 6 (KJV) – but godliness with contentment is great gain.

We can’t expect those who are evil to behave good and vice versa.

Whatever you’re full of, that is what you will produce.

Luke 6:45 (KJV) – a good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

So many trust in their resources rather than the source.

God is the source.

Trust Him.

II Timothy 6:17 (KJV) – charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.

A ransom is a payoff in exchange for something or someone else.

Jesus gave his life as a ransom so that you can be saved.

Mark 10:45 (KJV) – for even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Jesus said, if you give, I’ll have man give more back to you than what you gave.

Luke 6: 38 (KJV) – give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Thank God that his thoughts are not our thoughts, and his ways are not like ours.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV) – for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

We really have to stop allowing the flesh-satan to rule over us into temptation.

The flesh is weak and never willing to fight. But the Spirit is always willing.

Matthew 26:41 (KJV) – watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
