We try to prosper and obtain success in our own strength.

But we succeed through the power and strength of our Lord Jesus Christ, not our own.

Philippians 4:13 (KJV) – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

When we don’t want to wait on God and take matters into our own hands, we get our own results.

But when we wait on God, we receive what we could never imagine.

His best!

Isaiah 64:4 (KJV) – for since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

You can’t have faith, believing for a raise and not put in the work.

Faith by itself is dead.

Work your faith!

James 2:17 (KJV) – even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Have you truly thought about how much God loves you?

Your sins can’t outweigh God’s mercy for you.

That’s love.

Psalm 103:8 (KJV) – the Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

If you eagerly look for good, you’ll find favor.

But those that do wrong, it will come back on you.

Proverbs 11:27 (KJV) – he that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.

We claim others or even ourselves to be a ‘ride-or-die’.

Jesus Christ died for YOU . . . while you were in your sins.

He is your ride-or-die!

Romans 5:8 (KJV) – but God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Are you a friend of Jesus?

His friends will keep His word.

John 15:14 (KJV) – ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

If you judge others, you will be judged too.

It’s simple . . . Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged.

Matthew 7:1-2 (KJV) – judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

We have a tendency to treat people badly for one reason or another.

You are to treat people the way you want to be treated.

Matthew 7:12 (KJV) – therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

Wherever there is sin, there is much more grace.

Romans 5:20 (KJV) – moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.
