If you read the word and not do it, you’re not deceiving man.

You’re deceiving yourself.

James 1:22 (KJV) – but be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

When we wait on God and not move before Him, we will not be anxious, and He will give us strength like eagles.

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) – but they that wait up on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

If you love God, you’ll  obey His word.

Therefore, when you walk worthy of the Lord, He will not withhold any good thing from you.

Psalm 84:11 (KJV) – for the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Blessed are those who trust in God.

Psalm 84:12 (KJV) – O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Most would rather be in a place where the word is not.

It is better to be in the courts of the Lord than anywhere else.

Psalm 84:10 (KJV) – for a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

It is God’s will for you to give thanks for it all.

The Lord is never too busy that He can’t hear you or save you.

Isaiah 59:1 (KJV) – behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear.

Our relationships fall apart when we lie, cheat, deceive – basically, when we constantly do wrong.

It’s the same with our Father.

Your sins separate you from Him.

Isaiah 59:2 (KJV) – but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear you.

Jesus said, we will have trouble in the world, but we have peace in Him.

Therefore, you should be glad!

John 16:33 (KJV) – these things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

God holds all power. Therefore, He is in control.

Romans 13:1 (KJV) – let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
