The word of God is the light to our path, yet so many choose to continue to walk in darkness.

Darkness has no guide.

When are you going to stop stumbling and come out of the dark?

Psalm 119:105 (KJV) – thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

John 12:35 (KJV) – then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

Don’t fight the word of God. Trust it.

I Timothy 6:12 (KJV) – fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on external life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Psalm 18:30 (KJV) – as for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Have you ever falsely accused someone, and later found out you were wrong?

Did you apologize? Most importantly, did you ask for forgiveness? Or did you just say; “oh well”?

Were you falsely accused, and the other person never apologized to you???

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Matthew 7:12 (KJV) – therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

When our back is against the wall, and we want out of a situation, we cry to God and make promises to Him.

Don’t tell God what you’re going to do, and turn around and say, you didn’t mean it.

Keep your promise, or there are consequences.

It’s better not to make promises you can’t keep.

Ecclesiastes 5:4-6 (KJV) – when thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. Suffer not thy mouth to cause they flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?

When something negative happens out of nowhere, we quickly become afraid.

Trust God, not fear.

Proverbs 3:25-26 (KJV) – be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

We are so concerned with what others are doing, when we have concerns of our own.

If Jesus formed a line here on earth, the closer you got to Jesus in that line, the more you would be concerned about yourself, and not others.

Stop examining others, but concern yourself with yourself.

Matthew 7:3 (KJV) – and why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

II Corinthians 13:5 (KJV) – examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

All work and no play, is not what God intended.

Enjoy the fruit of your labor!

It’s God’s gift to you!

Ecclesiastes 3:13 (KJV) – and also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

There are so many that believe once they receive whatever they’re craving, they will be happy and have peace.

Once you get it, you want something else, or something more.

So where is your peace?

There’s a peace that surpasses the peace of this world.

John 14:27 (KJV) – peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Why is it, we want what we ask for, but don’t want everything that comes with it?

If you don’t want what comes with whatever your asking, don’t ask for it.

Be careful for what you ask for. You just might get it.

Matthew 7:8 (KJV) – for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Philippians 4:6 (KJV) – be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

God gave us one direction to move in, and that’s forward.

So why do you choose to go backwards?

Your decisions.

Philippians 3:13 (KJV) – brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.
