Hidden Blessings

When things are being stirred up in our lives, and we don’t understand why, and we first see it as something bad. But, have you thought to look at it as a blessing in disguise?

We hold back from change because we want to keep the familiar things just as they are. But what we don’t realize, is they are hidden blessings. We can’t keep things the way they are forever without growing. God wants to stir us up so that he can show us what he has for us. He has something so much bigger than our own dream.

We have to step back and see what God is doing in our lives. He wants us to move forward. We get comfortable, and don’t want to change. But change is what moves us forward to what God wants for us.

When God has given you grace to move forward, the past is never going to be like it used to be, but your future is going to be so much better, if you let Him have his way.

Ephesians 3:20 (KJV) – now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

Philippians 3:13 (KJV) – brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.

I Blame You

We sabotage our own lives, but we blame it on others.

When things are not going exactly like we want, we find a way to get upset and ruin the atmosphere, instead of learning to accept change. We don’t want to be accountable for what went wrong, so we blame everyone else, except ourselves. Remember, we are not perfect people, therefore, we have to blame some, if not all, on ourselves.

When you learn to stop having your way, accept that you just might like what others have to offer. Stop sabotaging your life, by examining yourself, not others. You will begin to make wiser decisions, and your life will reveal itself of God’s peace.

II Corinthians 13:5 (KJV) – examine yourselves, whether he be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know he not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

There’s More Fight In You Then You Think

When we run a race, we practice for that race. In our practice, we are expecting to be the winner or close to it. Therefore, in order to be a winner, we are expecting to finish the race.

In practice, things get tough at times. So tough, there’s a desire to quit. We don’t want our efforts to be in vain — for nothing. Therefore, we must persevere, keep going to win the race and receive the reward.

Such is our lives. When we follow after God, there will be times when we feel we don’t want to do the right thing, and we want to quit. But when we quit, we become a follower of this world. Thank God, He gives us another chance at the race.

Press forward, have faith in God, and let God be your guide. Let Him show you how to finish the race in his strength and not your own. Don’t give up on God. It doesn’t matter how long it takes, because there is a reward waiting for you, if you finish the race. There’s more fight in you, then you think.

Philippians 3:14 (KJV) – I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

II Timothy 4:4-5, 7-8 (KJV) – and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Do You Have A Best Friend

Do you have a BFF — best friend forever? A friend that you can tell any and everything to without judging you, or sharing your most intimate thoughts with anyone. A friend that can tell you your wrong with love, and vice-verse?

Not many can say they have a true best friend, which is truly a gift and a blessing from God!

Our Father is truly a best friend, if you let him. You can share your most deepest, and intimate thoughts and he will never share them with anyone. He’ll guide you, protect, shield you from harm, and do the same for your family and friends.

God already knows you, all you have to do is to get to know him. He wants to be your everything. Let Him show you, he’s the best friend you will ever have.

John 15:13-15 (KJV) – greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

He Got You

God got your back. Even if you don’t have His.

Hebrews 13:5 (KJV) – let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Matthew 28:29 (KJV) – teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Romans 8:39 (KJV) – nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Believe That You Can

Whenever we go through a situation and we feel it’s too hard, too much for us to handle, understand that God has already given us what we need to go through it.

His word says, He will never leave us, nor forsake us. So when we go through situations, remember He is in us, and greater than who is in the world.

It is “you”, who doubt and don’t believe you can get through your situation.

Believe that you can, God already knows you can.

Hebrews 13:5 (KJV) – let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Matthew 6:30 (KJV) – wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

I John 4:4 (KJV) – ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, then he that is in the world.

My First Love

We all have a love since before the foundation of the world. That is God. God loved every last one of us before we were born. That means our parents, and our parents-parents, as so on.

We are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. Therefore, He is our first love. Love him, because he first loved us.

Ephesians 1:4 (KJV) – according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.

Revelation 2:4 (KJV) – nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left my first love.

Mark 12:30 (KJV) – and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

I John 4:19 (KJV) – we love him, because he first loved us.

Everything Is Not Meant For You

Satan is in the catering business, whether we want to call it that or not. When satan shows us something we like or want, and we know it’s wrong and we choose to have no self-control over it, we take it.

Satan has a way of pushing what is good in our lives, so far behind us, that we cater to the him — the flesh. He has a way with our minds to make us believe, what is set before us, we can pick and choose what we want. He can put out a spread so beautiful, because he knows what we like. But he doesn’t show us the consequences that comes with that beautiful spread.

Everything that’s beautiful, or presented before you, is not meant for you. Know the tactics of satan, so that you will know not to take from his table.

God’s word say, the wages of sin in death. Choose eternal life, which is a gift from God.

We all fall short of God’s glory, we just don’t have to fall every time.

II Corinthians 2:11 (KJV) – lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Romans 6:23 (KJV) – for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 3:23 (KJV) – for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Our First Response

How many times have you called someone for help, and they did not answer your call? How frustrating.

When we look to others to fulfill our needs, first we put expectations on them, then we take the risk of disappointment. If what we expect from others is delivered, we’re good. But when they don’t, we’re disappointed, frustrated, and even upset at others.

Our first response is to go to God. Call upon Him, not second, or somewhere down the line, or when everything or everyone else has failed — but first. Go to God, expecting from him. Come to him in spirit and in truth. He will hear you, and save you.

God will supply your every need. He wants to be there for you. He wants you to call on Him. He wants to give you what you ask for.

Call upon God first, not man. Man will hesitate, God is waiting.

Psalm 145:18-19 (KJV) – the Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

Philippians 4:19 (KJV) – but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Luke 11:9 (KJV) – and I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Psalm 86:7 (KJV) – in the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

There Is None Other

Who do you know is like God? What do you know is like God?

There is none like God! None! None powerful! None mighty! None all knowing! None!

Our Heavenly Father is righteous and holy in all his ways.

He is great! He is God, and God alone.

Psalm 86:8- (KJV) – among the god’s there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

Matthew 28:18 (KJV) – and Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Psalm 145:17 (KJV) – the Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Psalm 86:10 (KJV) – for thou art great, and doesn’t wondrous things: thou art God alone.
