The Lord will bless the righteous like a shield with favor.

Psalm 5:12 (KJV) – for thou Lord, wilt bless the righteous, with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Repay good with evil.

Not evil with evil.

Otherwise, you’ll miss your blessing.

I Peter 6:9 (KJV) – not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

There is nothing and no one that has more power than God.

There’s no power but of God.

Romans 13:1 (KJV) – let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

To overcome evil, do good.

Romans 12:21 (KJV) – be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Gives thanks for everything.

It’s for you and no one else.

It’s also God’s will.

I Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV) – in every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

When you’re forgiven by someone, you forget about it and move on.

When God forgives you, He forgets it and moves on.

Why can’t you?

Hebrews 8:12 (KJV) – for I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

You are to be strong and courageous.

Not to be afraid or anxious.

It’s a commandment, not a request.

Joshua 1:9 (KJV) – have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

God owns it all, and His riches are unending.

He will supply all your needs.

Philippians 4:19 (KJV) – but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God loves you so much that He wants to take care of everything that concerns you.

Give it to Him.

I Peter 5:7 (KJV) – casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

The bridge between man and God is Jesus, not man or nothing else.

John 14:6 (KJV) – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
