We are to do everything for God.

To His glory, not yours.

Satan constantly tempts us.

Remember, God will make a way for you to escape the temptation.

Choose to escape.

I Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) – there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Satan will tempt you when you are in need.

Submit yourself to God and satan has to leave.

James 4:7 (KJV) – submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

God’s mercy toward you is great and not to be compared.

His truth is forever.

Psalm 117:2 (KJV) – for his merciful kindness is great toward us and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

We are quick to give in to temptation.

Your flesh is weak. But the Spirit is definitely willing.

Matthew 26:41 (KJV) – watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

We have to stop trying to be strong all the time.

God’s grace is more than enough.

II Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) – and he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therfore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
