Man wants to do it his way, which he thinks is the right way.

Proverbs 14:12 (KJV) – there is a way that seemeth right unto man, which leadeth to death.

If you have just a little bit of faith, you can do great things.

But don’t forget to fast and pray.

Matthew 17:20-21 (KJV) – and Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say, unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place: and it shall remove: and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out, but by prayer and fasting.

Hold on to your faith without going back and forth with doubt.

God will do what He Promised.

He is faithful.

Hebrews 10:23 (KJV) – let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised:).

There are many turning away from the word of God, listening to false teachings that seem real.

Denying the Lord brings quick destruction upon yourselves.

II Peter 2:1 (KJV) – but there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnation heresies, even denying the Lord that brought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

We look to man first to help us.

Look to God first. Your help comes from Him.

Psalm 121:2 (KJV) – my help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

It’s not always possible, BUT . . .

As much as is in you, live in peace with everyone.

Romans 12:18 (KJV) – if it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Show mercy to others.

Our Father is definitely merciful to you.

Luke 6:36 (KJV) – be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

We gamble against the odds, but don’t want to take a chance on God.

God is a sure win!

Mark 10:27 (KJV) – and Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
