When we sin, we sin against God.

Not man. But God.

Psalm 51:4 (KJV) – against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

We trust ourselves over anything and anyone else.

Trust God over your own understanding, and He’ll guide you.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

If you don’t ask for forgiveness, your sin is still with you.

Confess it to God, and ask for forgiveness and cleansing.

Psalm 51:2-3 (KJV) – wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

We all fall short of God’s glory.

But you can ask God to cleanse your heart and give you a right spirit.

Psalm 51:10 (KJV) – create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

All of us have sin.

Yes . . . No matter what your position is, that includes you too.

Romans 3:22-23 (KJV) – even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

We are to serve the Lord knowing all the good things He has done for us.

Therefore, serve Him truthfully and with all your heart.

I Samuel 12:24 (KJV) – only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Be careful who you hang with.

Bad company corrupts good character.

I Corinthians 15:33 (KJV) – be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Most expect to receive a lot back when they’ve only given a small amount.

Give a little, receive a little back.

Give a lot, and receive a whole lot back.

II Corinthians 9:6 (KJV) – but this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

God is Almighty, and He gave you power. Why would you think He would give you fear?

Fear is not of God. It’s from satan.

II Timothy 1:7 (KJV) – for God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and a love, and of a sound mind.

Whenever there is resentment and anger, there is confusion and evil.

James 3:16 (KJV) – for where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
