We trust ourselves over anything and anyone else.
Trust God over your own understanding, and He’ll guide you.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

If you don’t ask for forgiveness, your sin is still with you.
Confess it to God, and ask for forgiveness and cleansing.
Psalm 51:2-3 (KJV) – wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

We all fall short of God’s glory.
But you can ask God to cleanse your heart and give you a right spirit.

We are to serve the Lord knowing all the good things He has done for us.

God is Almighty, and He gave you power. Why would you think He would give you fear?
