We worry about things that we have no business worrying about.

Take the weight off your shoulders and give them to the Lord.

Because He cares.

I Peter 5:7 (KJV) – casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Give your burdens to the Lord in exchange for His cross.

He said, you will find rest to your souls.

Not maybe, but will.

Matthew 11:28-29 (KJV) – come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Satan is walking around like a vicious lion looking to see who he can destroy.

You won’t always see him coming.

Be alert and in your right mind.

I Peter 5:8 (KJV) – Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

God doesn’t forget the good things you do.

Hebrews 6:10 (KJV) – for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, and that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

You love it, but God hates it . . .

A proud look.

Stop using it the wrong way.

Proverbs 6:16-17 (KJV) – these six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.

We act like the devil is easy, and God is so hard.

Whatever you stand for . . . is easy.

Matthew 6:21 (KJV) – for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

When it comes to waiting, most don’t want to wait on God.

Be strong and wait on God.

He will give you strength.

Psalm 27:14 (KJV) – wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

We get close to others, intentionally, to get to know them.

Intentionally, get close to God, and He will intentionally get close to you.

James 4:8 (KJV) – draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your heart, ye double minded.

Most have faith by what they see. That’s not faith.

Trust God by what you don’t see.

II Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) – for we walk by faith, not by sight.
