We’re fearful of a lot of things, but don’t know how to overcome the fear.

Only believe.

Mark 5:36 (KJV) – As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith onto the ruler of the synagogue, be not afraid, only believe.

Although you have not seen Jesus, you are blessed because you believe.

John 20:29 (KJV) – Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

If you confess your sins to our Father, He will forgive you.

AND, give you a clean slate from your sins.

I John 1:9 (KJV) – if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

No matter what you go through . . . .

God got you!

Isaiah 43:2 (KJV) – when thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

We try to do everything in our own strength.

Be strong in the Lord and in his power.

Not your own.

Ephesians 6:10 (KJV) – finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Your whole job is to fear God in reference to him, and be obedient by keeping His commandments.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV) – let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

King Solomon was the wisest man who ever lived.

He asked God for discernment, and God gave it.

There was none wiser before him, and will be none wiser after him.

I Kings 3:12 (KJV) – behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

Its bad enough, we want to hate our enemies, let alone like them.

You are to love them.

Luke 6:27 (KJV) – but I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you.

We put our faith in man’s wisdom.

Your faith should be in the power of God.

I Corinthians 2:5 (KJV) – that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Satan is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

He will look like what you think you want . . . but it’s not.

Hebrews 7:15 (KJV) – beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
