We run to man first in times of trouble.

God is our strength and safe place.

He’s the one you run to when you’re in trouble.

Psalm 46:1 (KJV) – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

To know Jesus is to keep his commandments.

Otherwise, you’re considered, a liar, and don’t know the truth.

I John 2:4 (KJV) – he that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

We are to make a difference in this world.

You are the light that shines in the darkness.

Let your light shine, and be the difference.

Matthew 5:16 (KJV) – let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven.

We are not to let things worry us, nor are we to be afraid.

God has given us his peace.

John 14:27 (KJV) – peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

When wronged, our first instinct is to do them wrong, like they did us.

You are to overcome evil with good.

Romans 12:21 (KJV) – be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Stop trying to get revenge.

It’s not yours to get.

Romans 12:19 (KJV) – dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

As much as it is within you, have peace with man.

Romans 12:18 (KJV) – if it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men

You shouldn’t worry about tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be okay.

Matthew 6:34 (KJV) – take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

God doesn’t want any of us to perish.

Therefore, He wants us all to repent.

II Peter 3:9 (KJV) – the Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

We make excuses for our wrong and miss our blessings.

Confess your wrong to God and receive your blessing . . . Forgiveness

I John 1:9 (KJV) – if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
