We put high expectations on man to lift us up and protect us.

God is your glory.

Take man off the hook.

Psalm 3:3 (KJV) – but thou, O Lord, art a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

Not having sex outside of marriage is not old-school.

It’s not God’s will.

I Thessalonians 4:3 (KJV) – for this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication.

We make residence out of our circumstances, and look for others to comfort us.

It’s not a pit stop, or a residence.

It’s for you to go through it.

Psalm 23:4 ((KJV) – yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

We will seat in front of a TV and watch one movie after another that dont have any life lessons.

But won’t take a minute to read a bible verse, that will give you lessons for your life.

Galatians 6:8 (KJV) – for he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

We are so quick to point out someone else’s wrong.

Stop throwing rocks . . . You have done wrong too.

John 8:7 (KJV) – so when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

The only way to God is through Jesus.

There’s no other way . . . NONE!

John 14:6 (KJV) – Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

We seem to think, if our sin is not as bad as someone else’s, we’re good.

There is no measure in sin. If you broken one commandment, you’ve broken them all.

How bout that….

James 2:10 (KJV) – for whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Many seem to think we can have other gods. Just don’t put them first over the living God.

We are to have no other gods, but God.

That means . . . none.

Exodus 20:3 (KJV) – thou shalt have no other gods before me.

If God is your strength and your savior, why do you fear?

Either He is or He isn’t.

Psalm 27:1 (KJV) – the Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

God knows, with men it is impossible.

But, we are to live in peace with everyone.

That’s if it’s in you.

Romans 12:18 (KJV) – if it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
