We sometimes wish we had “the hook-up” to get a favor.
You have to know the connection, to get the hook-up.
So is it with our Father. Jesus is “The Hook-up” to the Father.
John 14:6 (KJV) – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
There are so many who truly believe they have more power over Jesus.
Jesus has all the power. He is the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time)!
Matthew 28:18 (KJV) – and Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Most won’t pray good things for their enemies.
But watch out, when you let their misfortune be your joy.
Proverbs 24:17-18 (KJV) – rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
You can’t roll with God, and Satan too.
I Corinthians 10:21 (KJV) – ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of the devils.
There is not one temptation that man has not been tempted of.
And there is not one temptation that there is not an escape.
I Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) – there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
When you do things for others, looking for a reward or praise, whatever they say or do for you, that’s all the reward you’ll get.
