Rest

Most want to work at least 2 days and rest for 5. Let alone work 6 and rest for one.

The 7th day belongs to the Lord. Rest in it.

Exodus 20:8, 11 (KJV) – remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Every Word

We not only live by bread, but by every word from the mouth of God.

If God said, it is so.

Deuteronomy 8:3 (KJV) – and he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with man-na, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know, that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

Owe No Man

The rich rules over the poor, and the one that has borrowed is enslaved to the one that lend.

Owe no man nothing.

Proverbs 22:7 (KJV) – the rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

Romans 13:8 (KJV) – owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

My Friend

If you do what Jesus tells you to do, He will call you His friend, and tell you what the Father has told Him.

John 15:14-15 (KJV) – ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants, for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Inexcusable

When you judge, you will be judged by the same thing.

No one is exempt. No one is excused.

The only way out is not to judge.

Romans 2:1 (KJV) – therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosever thou art that judgest : for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
