For Your Good

We make all kinds of decisions, whether by the help of someone, or being lead by the Holy Spirit.

Yet, we are quick to take the credit if the results are good, and quick to blame someone else when the results are bad.

Accept the consequences for your decisions, whether good or bad. If you love God, they both will work out for your good.

Romans 8:28 (KJV) – and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

Man Is Just Like You

We will believe a man who said, he will send a stimulus check – and wait on it, rather then believe the word of God.

God’s word is sharper then any two-edged sword.

Man . . . is just like you.

Psalm 146:3 (KJV) – put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) for the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

And It Was So

We were made in the image of God. He gave us authority to speak things into existence.

God spoke it, and it was so.

As believers, God has given you authority to speak it, and if you believe it, without doubting, it will be so.

Speak it!

Genesis 1:3 (KJV) – and God said, let there be light: and there was light.

Mark 11:23 (KJV) – for verily I say unto you. That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

What I Don’t Have

Most people focus on what they don’t have, and feel, they will be happy once they get what they want.

How can you expect God to give you anything more, when you’re not content with what He has already given you?

Be content with what you have.

Philippians 4:11-12 (KJV) – not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

No I Got This

A lot of our plans are redirected, and most times we have to strategize a Plan B. But really, its Plan A.

Just when we think we got it, God says . . . No, I got this.

Trusting God in the process, and letting Him have his way, Plan A will always work out for your good.

He knows best!

Proverbs 20:24 (KJV) – man’s goings are of the Lord: how can a man then understand his own way?
