Am I My Brother’s Keeper

When a stranger or your neighbor is hungry or need to be clothed, you are to feed them, you are to clothe them.

Whatever you do, or do not to your neighbor, you’re doing it unto God.

You are your brother’s keeper.

Matthew 25:40, 45 (KJV) – and the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he answer them; saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

The Battle Within

Our battles are not on the outside, with flesh and blood, but within ourselves. If our battle is within ourselves, so are our weapons.

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) – for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

I Am Who They Say I Am

If you’re living by the compliments of others to lift you up, the criticism of others will also bring you down.

Stop allowing others to validate you. Know who you are, not who others say you are.

You are who God says you are – a child of God! Joint-heirs with Christ! Fearfully and wonderfully made! More than a conqueror!

Romans 8:16-17 (KJV) – the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs: heirs of God, and join-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also gloried together.

Psalm 139:14 (KJV) – I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Romans 8:36-37 (KJV) – as it is written, for thy sake we are killed all lthe day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Doing My Own Thing

A blueprint is a plan laid out, how it should look when it’s finished. It doesn’t show the what-ifs. It only shows the end results.

They same is with our lives. God has a blueprint laid out for us. Even when we do our own thing (the what-ifs). He knows the end results.

Whatever God has planned for you, he will finish it until the end.

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) – for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Philippians 1:6 (KJV) – being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Give To Whatever That Is

Whatever you’re praying for, you also have to be willing to give of that very thing. Whatever ‘that’ is.

You want love, you have to give love. You want more wealth, you have to give of your wealth.

Give, and you’ll get more back. You can’t reap a harvest, if you haven’t planted your seed.

Luke 6:38 (KJV) – give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Hope For It

We hope for, and put our faith in what we see, far more than what we don’t see.

How do you expect to have faith, if you only trust in what you see?

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) – now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Romans 24:24 (KJV) – for we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope, for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

Your Past And Your Future

We can’t feed our past and our future.

Therefore, we must stop looking back, or we will stumble getting through to our future.

Your past will never be in front of you. Leave it where it is.

Philippians 3:13 (KJV) – brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.
