If what you pray for has the wrong motive, don’t expect to receive it.

James 4:3 (KJV) – ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Some say we’re not to keep praying and asking God for things.

You are to always pray.

We are to make others’ burdens light by barring them for them.

Galatians 6:2 (KJV) – bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk in the Spirit, have a right standing with God, and are no longer condemned.

Romans 8:1 (KJV) – there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Don’t turn away from someone who asks to borrow from you.

Matthew 5:42 (KJV) – give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

People swear to God or to others to let others know what they’re saying is true.

You are not to swear at all.

Matthew 5: 34 (KJV) – but I say unto you, Swear not at all, whether by heaven, for it is God’s throne.

We pray and ask God for things and expect man to make it happen.

Wait for God and expect Him to make it happen.

Psalm 62:5 (KJV) – my soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from him.

God loves you.

Therefore, love others.

John 13:34 (KJV) – a new commandment I give unto you. That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
