Hate is a strong word.

But God hates lying, pride, shedding innocent blood, an evil heart, people who are quick to do wrong, cause conflict, and those who speak falsely against others.

Proverbs 6:16-19 (KJV) – these six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven, are an abomination onto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood. An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Those who brag and boast on themselves will be belittled.

If you humble yourself, you will be praised.

Matthew 23:12 (KJV) – and whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

If you’ve chosen not to trust God and trust man over God, you are cursed.

Put your trust in God.

Jeremiah 17:5 (KJV) – thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusted in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.

Put your hope and trust in the Lord.

You will be blessed.

Jeremiah 17:7 (KJV) – blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

God sent His Son, Jesus into the world that we may be saved through Him.

Not to condemn you, but to save you.

John 3:17 -(KJV) – for God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

If you’re offended by someone, go and tell them.

Just the two of you.

If the other person hear you, you’ve gained them back.

Matthew 18:15 (KJV) – moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

It is through Christ, not yourself, that you can do all things.

Philippians 4:13 (KJV) – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Some think they are tempted by God, but God will not tempt you.

God can’t be tempted with evil.

James 1:13 (KJV) – let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.

God knew you before you were born.

He adopted you for himself.

For His good pleasure, not yours.

Ephesians 1:5 (KJV) – having predestinated us unto the adoption of children of Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.

The flesh and the Spirit never see eye to eye.

The flesh doesn’t want you to do the will of God.

Galatians 5:17 (KJV) – for the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
