We expect from man and look for man to answer our prayers.

Your expectations should be from our Lord and Saviour, who answer prayers.

John 14:14 (KJV) – if ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

There are many that don’t believe and say they don’t need God.

Close your eyes and picture yourself hanging on the edge of a cliff and you’re losing your grip.

At the bottom of the cliff are hungry untamed lions and noone around.

Will you pray and who will you call?

Seek Him while you still can, otherwise it’ll be too late.

Isaiah 55:6 (KJV) – seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.

You may have heard, or said it yourself; ‘leave God out of it’.

There’s no subject that doesn’t include God.

Philippians 4:6 (KJV) – be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

We move towards death when we sin.

Be obedient and stop pushing away the very thing you need – Life!

Eternal life is a gift!

Romans 6:23 (KJV) – for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Many say, they’re living their best life, yet don’t have God in it.

Pursuing God in everything, you will not want for any good thing.

That’s living your best life!

Psalm 34:10 (KJV) – the young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

To fear God is to reference Him – to honor Him.

When you fear your parents, you think twice about doing something wrong.

If you fear God, you’ll think twice and not do wrong.

Proverbs 16:6 (KJV) – by mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.

Be a testimony and help others the way God helped you in your time of need.

II Corinthians 1:4 (KJV) – who comforted us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Most times we don’t receive what we pray for is because its either out of God’s will or we don’t believe.

Believe what you pray for and you’ll receive it.

Matthew 21:22 (KJV) – and all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

We walk around weighed down with things God did not intend for us to carry.

Stop worrying about what God has already taken care of.

Give your cares to Him and He’ll give you rest.

Matthew 11:28 (KJV) – come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

God has given us free will to choose.

Sin, which is death. The Spirit, which is life.

He also gives instructions for the right right choice to make.

In everything choice, choose life.

Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV) – I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
