We desire earthly things.

Therefore, we seek those things.

Desire and seek those things that are above, not on earth.

Colossians 3:2 (KJV) – set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

We allow fear to keep us from prospering and being the best version of ourselves.

Today is the day that you . . . Be strong! Be courageous! So you can prosper.

Joshua 1:7 (KJV) – only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right or to the left, that thou makes prosper whithersoever thou goest.

It is good for you to give thanks in everything.

Plus, it’s God’s will.

I Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV) – in every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

We pray and impatiently wait.

If we don’t receive it in our timing, we stop praying.

Don’t stop praying. Keep Praying.

I Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV) – pray without ceasing.

It’s almost unthinkable that one does not know what love is.

If you don’t love, you don’t know God.

God is love!

I John 4:8 (KJV) – he that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

We must stop patting ourselves on the back for what God called us to do.

Be humble and wait for God’s pat on the back.

He will lift you up in His timing.

I Peter 5:6 (KJV) – humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

We get ourselves in trouble and try to get ourselves out of it.

God fights the battle He already knew you were going to get in.

Give it to Him.

I Peter 5:7 (KJV) – casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Let’s try harder to do what God says.

If you love Him, you will obey him.

John 14:15 (KJV) – if ye love me, keep my commandments.

Those whom God gave to Jesus are kept from the evil.

Jesus prayed to the Father for it.

John 17:15 (KJV) – I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
