It’s AMAZING how powerful a word spoken or written can affect you.
But it’s not what goes in that defines you, its what comes out.
Matthew 15:11 (KJV) – not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man, but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

The unbeliever and even some believers have the notion that believers will not have trials and struggles.
News flash!!
No one is exempt from struggles.
John 16:33 (KJV) – these things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world.

There will be nothing negative in the life to come.
Revelation 21:4 (KJV) – and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

We hold on to things that are not of God, like fear, doubt, lying, and unbelief.
Try letting go, and hold on to those things that are of God, like self-control, power and love.
II Timothy 1:7 (KJV) – for God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Without the Word of God, there’s chaos and destructive guidance.
The Word of God teaches, instructs, and guides you so that you may be fully equipped for every good work.
Study it!
II Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV) – all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

When you wait on God and not try to handle a situation on your own, God will intervene and act on your behalf.

Have you worked hard for something you really wanted and received it?!
If you focus on God, like you focus on things of the world, you’ll find him.
Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV) – and ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

We lust for the things of the earth, when our desire should be on things above.
Colossians 3:2 (KJV) – set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

So many believe they are the chosen one.
All of us are not chosen.
But many of us are called.
Matthew 22:14 (KJV) – for many are called, but few are chosen.
