He Paid For It

Jesus did not pay for your sins with perishable things.

He paid for your sins with His pure and precious blood.

I Peter 1:18-19 (KJV) – forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Content

Mostly, we’re not satisfied. Our contentment is usually based on our circumstances.

When your circumstances changes so does your contentment.

Focus on God and be content with whatever circumstance you’re in.

Philippians 4:11 (KJV) – not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Be Careful

We have to be careful with our choice of words.

Our words should not be used to tear others down but to instruct to build others up.

Ephesians 4:29 (KJV) – let not corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

The Difference

Your sins separates you from God.

But nothing can separate you from God’s love.

There’s a difference.

Isaiah 59:2 (KJV) – but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear you.

Romans 8:39 (KJV) – nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
