More Blessings

We believe we can do more with our income if we keep it all to ourselves, yet we want more.

Give the first portion of your income to the Lord and you will receive an abundance of blessings.

Proverbs 3:9-10 (KJV) – honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Give

There’s always a time to give.

But if you hear the poor cry out and do nothing, your cries won’t be heard when you need it.

And believe me, one day you will be in need.

So give.

Proverbs 21:13 (KJV) – whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

Idols

Idols have hands but can’t feel, eyes but can’t see, ears but can’t hear and mouths but can’t talk.

You realize that’s worshiping something dead that can’t do nothing for you.

Psalm 135: 15-17 (KJV) – the idols on the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; they have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths. They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
