Our expectations from man is highly rated, which brings on much disappointment.
Expect and wait only on God, not man.
Psalm 62:5 (KJV) – my soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

Man can not fathom what God can and will do for those that wait on Him.
Wait on Him, and see.
Isaiah 64:4 (KJV) – for since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waited for him.

You can’t save yourself.
You are saved through your faith, by God’s grace, which is His gift to you
Ephesians 2:8 (KJV) – for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

If you’re a follower of Jesus Christ, goodness and mercy will follow you every day of your life.
That means you can’t escape His blessings.
Psalm 23:6 (KJV) – surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
God constantly runs after us while we run from God.
One day, He’s gonna let you run in your own way.
Psalm 81:12 (KJV) – so I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lusts: and they walked in their own counsels.

The strong are to help the weak.
But, not to please yourself, for self gratification.
Romans 15:1 (KJV) – we then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
New Years resolutions are usually made to better yourself.
Renew your mind so that you can prove what God’s perfect will is.
