Are You Dragging

A lot of our past is a blur, but some is crystal clear because we don’t want to, but should, let it go.

If you’re dragging your past into your future, why would you want to keep re-living what you drag? Let it go, and reach for what’s ahead!

Philippians 3:13 (KJV) – brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.

Permission To Take Control

When we allow the negative thoughts to constantly play in our mind, we have given satan permission to take control.

Think about what your thinking. Now think about those things that are true, honest and pure.

Take control of your thoughts, resist satan, and he must leave you.

II Corinthians 10:5 (KJV) – casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and brining into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Philippians 4:8 (KJV) – finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

James 4:7 (KJV) – submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Stop Running

We run from those things we are afraid of, more often than none. Afraid of the unknown. Afraid of the outcome.

Whatever it is you’re running from will continue to chase you, until you stop running and face it.

Stop running.

II Timothy 1:7 (KJV) – for God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Pass The Test

When we’re tested in our faith, the test is on what we know, not what we don’t know.

Your test is between you and God, not you and the other person.

Trust God with all your heart. If you trust Him, you will pass the test.

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

What Are You Waiting For

If you ask anything from God, that is His will, He hears your prayer.

And, if you know he hears you, you will receive what you ask for.

What are you waiting for? Ask!

I John 5:14-15 (KJV) – and this is the confidence that we have in him; that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

If I Can Just See Him

Have you thought, if I can just see God, maybe I can trust and believe him?

If you can physically see God, would you believe him? Would you trust him?

If you believe him, you’re already blessed.

John 20:29 (KJV) – Jesus saith unto him, Thomas because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Just Believe

God gave his only son for you, so that you may never die, but live forever.

All you have to do is believe in Him, and you will have it.

Just believe.

John 3:15-16 (KJV) – that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that was whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Are You Looking For God

Have you been looking for God in your circumstances? Wondering why he hasn’t showed up . . . yet?

When you look for Him, are you looking for him with your eyes, or through someone?

Look for God with all your heart and all your soul. He said, you will find him.

Deuteronomy 4:29-31 (KJV) – but if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (for the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he swarm unto them.

Believe Without Doubting

Why do we ask for things we already have, or pray for something, then don’t believe it will come to pass.

We ask for forgiveness, then don’t believe we have been forgiven. We ask, then don’t believe we will receive.

How can you expect to receive anything by thinking and asking with doubt? Where is your faith?

Believe it, without doubting, and you will receive it.

Luke 6:37 (KJV) – judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

James 1:6-8 (KJV) – but let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Mark 11:24 (KJV) – therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Where Is Your Name Written

We will all stand before God and be judged for our works. No one is exempt.

Your name will either be in the book of life, or you will be cast in the lake of fire.

Where will your name be written?

Revelation 20:12, 15 (KJV) – and I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
