I Forgot

We have a tendency of forgetting what God said, by focusing our eyes on what we see.

Don’t let what you see, make you forget about what God said.

I John 2:16 (KJV) – for all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Joshua 1:7 (KJV) – only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersover thou goest.

The Battles We Face

We say, the battle is the Lord’s, yet we keep trying to fight them, not realizing, we will lose every time. The battles we face are not ours to fight.

Our battles are for God to fight. When we are weak, there He is strong.

Stop fighting a losing battle. You will have to face it, but you don’t have to fight it.

Focus on God, not your battle.

I Samuel 17:47 (KJV) – and all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.

Exodus 14:14 (KJV) – the Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

II Corinthians 13:9 (KJV) – for we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

Proverbs 21:31 (KJV) – the horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the Lord.

Do It His Way

The choices we make on our own are foolish to God. When we fall, we cry out to Him to deliver us, when we should have called on him to direct, us in the first place.

Trust God, and do it his way. You do not have more power than He does.

Proverbs 26:12 (KJV) – seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.

Proverbs 19:3 (KJV) – the foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Change Your Thinking

Some say, they can’t help what they think. We can help what we think.

Whatever we think about the most, we will eventually act on it.

Change your thinking, which will change the direction in your life.

Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) – for as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Romans 12:2 (KJV) – and be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The First Thing Smoking

We are so quick to want to get out of a situation. We want out so fast, we are willing to take the first thing smoking. If we can take a jet out of our situation, we would.

We have to learn to stop taking flight out of our situations and see God working in us. Yes, it will be hard at times, and we may not see it working out. But we must be patient, have faith, and stand strong in the word of God.

Trust God with all your heart, and see Him work a good thing in you, and in your situation. You can’t lose with God.

Romans 5:1-2 (KJV) – therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Go Through It

When circumstances come, we try whatever we can to go through it. Actually, we don’t. We try everything we can to go around it, without going through it. We don’t want the pain, and the inconvenience.

Be courageous and do not fear. God is with you. Know that your reward is in your circumstances.

Receive the victory by going through it.

Psalm 23:4 (KJV) – yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Isaiah 61:3 (KJV) – to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Save Me

If we confess with our mouth Jesus Christ, and believe in our heart God raised Jesus from the dead, we will be saved.

If we believe on the Lord, we can save our household.

If we call on the Lord we will be saved.

Save yourself and your household.

Roman’s 10:9 (KJV) – that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Acts 16:30-31 (KJV) – And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Roman’s 10:13 (KJV) – for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Does Your Actions Deny Christ

There are so many who profess to have faith, and know the Lord, but there actions show something different.

Faith without works is dead. Therefore, don’t let your actions deny Christ.

James 2:20 (KJV) – but wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Titus 1:15-16 (KJV) – unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
