Can you imagine going through life not being forgiven for something you’ve done? I don’t mean just one thing, but for everything. Every time you have done something wrong in your life you were told, you will not be forgiven. That’s too awful to think about.
We are to forgive others, every time they have wronged us, repented, and wronged us again.
If we are not forgiving towards others, God will not forgive us. Not only that, He will allow a way for us to do something that will require us to want forgiveness for ourselves. We will reap what we have sown.
The next time the situation presents itself for you to forgive someone, put yourself in their shoes. Forgive others, so that you can be forgiven as well.
Luke 17:3-4 (KJV) – take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Galatians 6:7 (KJV) – de bot deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Matthew 6:14-15 (KJV) – for if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Why do we seem to think that others have the responsibility to make us happy?

What you do in the dark – in secret, will come to the light, and will come with consequences. But more importantly, what is done in the dark – in secret, God reveals it in the open for others to see.
Every time you say yes to God, He will say yes to you.
Bitterness, anger, and envy can do you more harm than the person you’re holding it against. It will cause you to live your life half-happy, with fake joy, and pretending to be something that you’re not. And the person you’re holding hostage in your heart and mind are not concerned with, or may not even know, what you’re festering.
