Youre A Liar

Ok, don’t get in your feelings and get offended . . . but it’s the truth.

We are all liars. And if you say that you are not – that is satan, and you are lying. You are deceiving yourself, and calling God a liar.

Not one of us are good. Not you, not me. Not one. If you are standing or sitting, reading this and say you are good – you are lying. There is nothing good in the flesh. But, we are perfect in God.

We all fall short of God’s glory. That’s why Jesus died for us. Jesus saved us from our sinful ways.

God said it. . . I didn’t.

Thank you Jesus!

I John 1:8-10 (KJV) – if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Psalm 14:3 (KJV) – they are all gone aside, they are altogether become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Deuteronomy 18:13 (KJV) – thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.

Psalm 38:3 (KJV) – there is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

Romans 3:23 (KJV) – for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

II Timothy 1:9 (KJV) – who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

I Dont Feel It

We try to believe God by what we feel, which is our flesh.

We can be mislead by our feelings. If we go by what we feel, our belief system will be like a dysfunctional thermostat. Hot, cold, just right. Then cold, just right, then hot again. This type of dysfunction, which are our feelings, leads to confusion and frustration.

Most believe, if we don’t feel it, we don’t believe it. Faith is not feelings, but truth. There is no confusion or frustration in truth. Neither can you do anything against the truth.

Our belief system should be trusting in God and in his word. God’s word is the truth. Your faith comes by hearing the word of God. Walk by faith.

I Corinthians 14:33 (KJV) – for God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

II Corinthians 13:8 (KJV) – for we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

John 17:17 (KJV) – sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Romans 10:17 (KJV) – so then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

II Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) – for we walk by faith, not by sight.

The Secret Within You Will Be Revealed

When we focus on our circumstances, we try to figure it out, and find the glory within ourselves. When we do that, we can never see what God is doing in our lives.

Once you stop focusing on the circumstances, and focus on God, the secret within you will be revealed to you by God, day by day.

Proverbs 25:27 (KJV) – it is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.

I Corinthians 14:25 (KJV) – and thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

II Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) – but we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

He Paid With His Life

There are all kinds of coverage to protect us from loss, to redeem us. Based on a number of requirements there’s a certain amount of protection provided. And some coverage of protection requires a deductible in order for you to be redeemed for your loss.

Jesus died on the cross for every one of you to cover you, and redeem you. You are covered by the blood of Jesus, regardless of who you are. Free of charge! Jesus paid your sin debt in full, and redeemed you from your sins, from all unrighteousness.

You don’t have to pay to be redeemed, Jesus already did that — with his life.

I John 1:7 (KJV) – but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin

Titus 2:14 (KJV) – who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Galatians 1:4 (KJV) – who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.

Fight All Your Battles On Your Knees

We have all been to war at one time or another. We may not have enlisted in the military, but we all have been on the battlefield. Battling all kinds of issues like relationships, drugs, unkind thoughts, abuse, and we don’t know how to conquer them, and move forward.

Some of us have been battling so long, we don’t know how to use the weapons God gave us, to win the battle. God cares for us therefore, he wants us to give him everything that concerns us. He has promised to give us rest, if we come to him.

We try to fight our battles, but they are not ours to fight. They are the Lord’s battles, to bring him honor and glory. We are to be still, and trust that he will do what he said he will do.

Fight all your battles on your knees, and you will win, every time,

II Corinthians 10:4 (KJV) – for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.

I Peter 5:7 (KJV) – casting all your care upon Him; for he cares for you.

Matthew 11:28 (KJV) – come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

II Chronicles 20:15 (KJV) – and he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Psalm 46:10 (KJV) – be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

You Are Like The Walking Dead

When you are guided by what the world does, you are a part of satan’s orchestra, and he is your director.

You practice with satan, when he points you in a direction to something he has made you think you want, and you go for it, even though it’s not good for you. He points, and you do it.

When you are not reading or listening to the word of God, and you indulge in what the world is doing, satan is guiding your footsteps. He is telling you what to do, but you dont recognize it because you are not tuned in to God, but to the world — to satan. You are like the walking dead.

God’s word says that you are not of this world, and God has chosen you. Let God guide you — he wants to.

John 15:19 (KJV) – if ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Proverbs 3:6 ( KJV) – in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I Need To Get In Shape

How much time do you spend on exercising or working out during the week? Strengthening your muscles, toning your body, either for yourself or for the world to see?

Exercise and working out is a good stress relief, and there’s nothing wrong with keeping our bodies in shape. But, when we’re not able to go to the gym anymore, and we’re not able to exercise or workout like we used to, then all we have are those weak muscles that does not do us as much good as before.

How much time do you spend reading the word of God? How much time do you spend with God? How much time do you spend strengthening your faith?

There is a strength that can’t compare to working out in the gym. If we are not reading God’s word, what good is our strength? We are nothing without God. When we are weak, God is strong.

It’s time to strengthen your mind, your body, your faith. Get in shape, and exercise on God’s word. Read his word, there is power in it!

I Timothy 4:7-8 (KJV) – but refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Psalm 6:2 (KJV) – have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me: for my bones are vexed.

II Corinthians 13:9 (KJV) – for we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) – for the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Pity Party Is Over

Life has a way of draining us emotionally, mentally and physically. Most of the time, it’s because we let it. It’s natural to go through emotions. But, when we have told our story, and others have given us pity, don’t turn it into a pity party.

Those things that hurt us are only there for a reason and a season. They are there to build us up, reveal who we are, draw us closer to God, and to help others.

The pity party is over! Move on! You can’t be strong and pitiful at the same time.

Psalm 69:20 (KJV) – reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) – to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

I Don’t Have To Take This

You don’t have to take everything that has been thrown at you — sitting down.

Stand up, don’t be afraid anymore, you can overcome. Let the inner man reveal himself in you, and to others.

II Timothy 1:7 (KJV) – for God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but for power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Ephesians 3:16 (KJV) – that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.

I John 4:4 (KJV) – ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
