Try Your Best

Don’t try to repay evil for evil.

His Strength

We try to do everything in our own strength.
We are to seek God and his strength.
I Chronicles 16:11 (KJV) – seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.
Do Right

You don’t have to feel right to do right.
Just do right.
Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV) – I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
Don’t Trust

Many say, they dont trust God, therefore, they don’t follow him.
Yet, you don’t trust man, but you follow him.
Psalm 118:8 (KJV) – it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
Longevity

Many ask, what’s the secret to living a long life.
Its simple . . . Highly respect your mother and father.
Exodus 20:12 (KJV) – honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
Watch Your Mouth

We don’t always say the right things in a conflict.
Let the Lord fight your battles, and ask him to watch your mouth.
Psalm 141:3 (KJV) – set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
Freed

Because your freed from sin, doesn’t mean you’re free to sin.
I Peter 2:16 (KJV) – as free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
Show Mercy

We don’t want to show mercy towards others when they wrong us.
Show mercy.
You’re going to one day need it for yourself.
Galatians 6:1 (KJV) – Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Always Give Thanks

We are a selfish people. Nothing is never enough.
You are to give thanks, all the time, for every thing . . . In the name of Jesus.
