Your expectations are not from man, but through man, from God.

Stop expecting from man.

Psalm 62:5 (KJV) – my soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

One of man’s hardest challenges is to humble himself in the presence of man.

Choose pride, man exalts you.

Choose humility, God will exalt you.

I Peter 5:6 (KJV) – humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

If man did something good for you, you’d tell others.

So tell others what good God has done for you.

Give Him thanks!

Psalm 105:1 (KJV) – O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

Our God is good.

His Mercy toward us is forever.

For that alone . . . you should give Him thanks and praise.

Psalm 106:1 (KJV) – praise ye the Lord, O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

We become fearful in times of trouble, it’s because we forget . . .

God will never desert or abandon you.

Hebrews 13:5 (KJV) – let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

We have a hard time with being content with where we are and what we have.

Be content in whatever state you are.

Philippians 4:11 (KJV) – not that I speak in respect of what: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

If you only believe what you see, that’s not faith.

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) – now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

If there is much confusion in a thing, and no peace, it’s not of God.

Stop allowing confusion to steal your peace.

I Corinthians 14:33 (KJV) – for God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

We trust man more than we trust God, and make man our resource.

There’s a curse in trusting man over God.

Jeremiah 17:5 (KJV) – thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departed from the Lord.

Bad company will corrupt good morals.

The more you’re with them, the more you’ll act like them.

I Corinthians 15:33 (KJV) – be not deceived: evil communications corruption good manners.
