Even the best of us have this notion that they chose God.

Let’s get it straight . . . God chose you.

John 15:16 (KJV) – ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Do you love God?

If you do, keep His commandments.

John 14:15 (KJV) – if ye love me, keep my commandments.

It pleases God very much when we are obedient to our parents.

Colossians 3:20 (KJV) – children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

Just as Christ forgave you, you can forgive others.

You’re gonna want it when the shoe is on the other foot.

Forgive!

Colossians 3:13 (KJV) – forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

We proclaim others to be our everything.

God is!!!

Psalm 18:2 (KJV) – the Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

God is able to do so much more than we ask or think.

It’s based on the power within you.

Ephesians 3:20 (KJV) – now unto him that is able to do exceeding abdundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

You trouble your home if you’re greedy with always wanting more.

Proverbs 15:27 (KJV) – he that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.

Adultery is still a thing.

It’s not just physical but also visual.

Matthew 5:28 (KJV) – but I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

It’s better to speak small words that many can understand, then to speak big words that only a few can understand.

Be a bridge builder to many, not a few.

I Corinthians 14:19 (KJV) – yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

We cry out to God to open doors He has closed.

Leave it and accept the closed door.

God knows best! You can’t open what He has shut.

Revelation 3:7 (KJV) – and to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth.
