Under Grace

Are you under the law, or under grace?

The law is made to be followed by those who choose not to do the will of God. To those who want to do their own thing, their own way.

Either you are walking under the law, doing the will of man, or you are walking in the Spirit, doing the will of God.

Just as a doctor is there for the sick, so is the law for the ungodly. If you walk in the Spirit, what need do you have for the law?

Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. You are under grace!

Galatians 5:18 (KJV) – but if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Galatians 5:16 (KJV) – this I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Romans 6:14 (KJV) – for sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Tempt Me

Some say that God tempts us.

If God wants the best for you, and provides you a way out of temptation, why would he trick you?

Temptation is trickery.

I Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) – there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

James 1:13-14 (KJV) – let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

You Determine How Long

There’s a saying; “time heals all wounds”? Well, it does – but, we determine that time.

We are in control of how long we will suffer what we’re going through. The longer we stay in the storm moaning and groaning about our circumstances, feeling sorry for ourselves, having a pity party, the longer it will take us to get out of it. The longer it will take us to see what God is showing us. The longer it will take us to move forward in our lives.

God did not empower you to be fearful, He gave you the power to take control and be strong! Stand strong! Be victorious! You are more than a conqueror! Believe it!

II Timothy 1:7 (KJV) – for God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Joshua 1:9 (KJV) – have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Romans 8:37 (KJV) – nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

He Is Enough

God constantly tells and shows us, His grace is sufficient. He is enough! But, we don’t believe it. Why? Because our eyes and hears are fixed on the things of this world. We are so selfish and self-centered, we miss the simplicity of our Father.

It’s simple! Not always easy, but simple. Take your focus off of what you see, and fix your eyes and hears on God. He’s enough for your financial problems, your relationship issues, and enough to take away your pain.

He – is – enough, just trust Him!

II Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) – and he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) – now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Psalm 34:8 (KJV) – O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

I See How You Love Me

Does your love for others show in how you treat them? Can they see your love for them? Or is speaking your love good enough?

Show your love not just by your words, but by your actions. Without your actions, the words you speak are questionable or dead.

God loves us, and shows us his love, daily. Open your eyes and your heart, and you will see God’s love for you.

I John 3:18 (KJV) – my little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and truth.

I Don’t Hear Him

Have you heard others say, God or The Holy Spirit spoke to them? But you find it hard to believe because you don’t believe God or The Holy Spirit has ever spoken to you.

God speaks to us through His word, The Holy Spirit, a person, or through an event. All you have to do is pay attention and listen.

If you’re not in his word, and spending time with him, how can you know if he spoke to you or not? The sheep knows the voice of the Shepherd. Just like a child knows the voice of their mother.

Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you.

John 10:27 (KJV) – my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

James 4:8 (KJV) – draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, he sinners; and purify your hearts, he double minded.
