Protected In My Lies

When we lie, we do it to protect ourselves. From what? The truth.

We lie to hid, because we don’t want others to know who we really are, and we don’t want to be rejected. But understand, we are not protected by our lies, but being controlled by satan. There is no truth in a lie.

Be true to yourself. Be true to God. Accept who you are. Speak the truth.

I John 1:8 (KJV) – if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

II Corinthians 13:8 (KJV) – for we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

Take It

Most of us have a tendency of begging God for things, when it is not His intention for us to beg him for anything.

God said, ask and it shall be given. All you have to do is believe what you ask for, and receive it – take it.

I Thessalonians 5:19 (KJV) – quench not the Spirit.

Matthew 7:7 (KJV) – ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Mark 11:24 (KJV) – therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Laugh In Your Joy

Laugh!  Laugh! Laugh!

One of the reasons we are so stressed out is because we don’t laugh as much as we should. We take things so serious.  Our lives are stressful, work is stressful, the news is stressful, and most of the movies we watch are stressful. We have allowed our joy to be taken, slowly.

Cast your cares on God, and tell satan . . . no more.  Rejoice in the day that God has made, and he will give you peace!

Watch a funny movie, swing on a swing, take dancing lessons, color in a coloring book – be a kid again! Let your hair down and rejoice!!!

Keep a smile in your heart, and it will always show on your face.  Laugh in your joy!

Psalm 40:16 (KJV) – let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.

Psalm 118:24 (KJV) – this is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Stop Remembering Your Wrong

Why do we keep digging up things that we have done wrong and feeling guilty about them?  Once you have asked for forgiveness, God has forgiven you, and doesn’t remember what you have done wrong.  Now forgive yourself.

Stop remembering your wrong, and move forward in your life.  God hasn’t given up on you, so don’t give up on yourself.

I John 1:9 (KJV) – if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

You Have Done It To Yourself

When you hurt others, you are hurting yourself.

Think about what you’re going to do, because you’re doing it to yourself.

Galatians 6:7 (KJV) – be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Matthew 7:12 (KJV) – therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

You Can’t Lose With God

If you never face obstacles in your life, you will never grow, and never get stronger in your faith.

Every obstacle is an opportunity. Therefore, let your opportunity strengthen you, not weaken you. Know that God’s grace is sufficient. Don’t fight what he is doing for you, but trust him in your obstacles, and see your life change for the better.

You can’t lose with God.

II Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) – and he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

The Kiss Of Judas

When someone has betrayed us, or hurt us, it’s hard to shake it off. But, most of the time, we fail to see it as something good, something that’s pushing us toward our destiny.

Jesus was betrayed by Judas with a kiss. It looked very bad when it was happening, but the betrayal saved us all from our sins. It was for our good, serving God’s plan. Our sins were paid for in full by Jesus.

Therefore, don’t get upset when you receive the kiss of Judas from someone, it’s all happening for your good. Stay in faith and be reminded, God is in control, and the kiss of Judas is a blessing in disguise.

Luke 22:47-48 (KJV) – and while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

Genesis 50:20 (KJV) – but as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Do You Want It Bad Enough

It took Moses and the Israelites 40 years to get to the promise land, because they disobeyed God. It should had only taken them 3 days.

Have you been praying for something, and you truly believe it’s God’s will for you, but you don’t understand why your prayer has not been answered? Could it be that God doesn’t feel you’re ready for it – God’s timing? Or, have you not done what God asked you to do in that particular area – disobedience?

We have to be patient and wait for God’s timing, not our own. And, when we don’t do what God has told us to do, it’s not that he doesn’t want to answer our prayer, it’s because of our disobedience. The longer we hold off on being obedient to God, the longer it will take to receive what we ask for.

If you want it bad enough, you will obey God and wait for His timing.

Numbers 32:13 (KJV) – and the Lord’s anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the Lord, was consumed.

Psalm 27:14 (KJV) – wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, on the Lord.

Garbage Dumper

Are you a garbage dumper?  I mean, every time you are frustrated about something, you take it out on someone else by screaming and hollering, instead of you dealing with the situation.

Stop dumping your garbage on others, and see everything as coming from God.  Ask him; “what are you telling me through this?”, and he will reveal it to you. Look at the situation on a positive level.  Pray and give thanks to God. He could very well be saving you from something, or revealing the truth about yourself.

Do the right thing, and let God show you how much he loves you, and you will see him loving you in your everyday life.

Philippians 4:6 (KJV) – be care for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
