Across The Bridge

There’s a bridge, that we need, to get us to a place that we can not get to on our own.

Jesus is that bridge to carry us over the trouble, the sin that so holds us bondage.

We have been given grace, that allows us to move forward in our lives, to walk us through the valley, that forgives or sins, that sets us free.

Let Jesus lead you across the bridge, to a life surrendered to God.

You are saved by grace.

Ephesians 3:8 (KJV) – unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is the grace given, that should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.

Ephesians 2:8 (KJV) – for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

It’s Hard

Whatever it is that’s hard for you to let go of, could be the very thing that’s keeping you from receiving your blessing.

Resist the devil, and he will flee.

James 4:7 (KJV) – submit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Keep It 100

We have a tendency of blaming others for our downfalls. Quick to blame someone else.

We are responsible for our own actions, our own decisions. Keep it 100! Stop blaming your wounds on someone else.

Romans 2:1 (KJV) – therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself, for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Fight For What You Want

If you’re convicted in what you want – what you hope for, and you know it’s in line with the word of God, don’t take no for an answer. Don’t give up.

Satan will try to hit you where he knows you’re weak, to make you lose your hope. But, if you stand strong in God’s word, you can sustain the blow.

Fight the good fight of faith. Don’t back down from satan. God gave you power over all the power of satan. Use it and claim the victory!

Luke 10:19 (KJV) – behold, I give unto you, power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

II Timothy 4:7 (KJV) – I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.

Let Jesus Answer The Door

There’s always some type of situation knocking at our door. But, every situation we face is not from satan. There are so many of us, who do not see it as something good or coming from God. Therefore, when a situation knocks, we answer, see it has something bad, and try to handle it ourselves.

Our situations are to stretch our faith, strengthen us, teach us, and to remove those things that don’t fit who we are.

Let Jesus answer the door to your situations. Trust Him to fight for you. You will be so glad you did.

Proverbs 8:34 (KJV) – blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my door.

Resisting Your Blessings

When struggles seem so hard that we feel we can’t handle them, remember it’s only temporary. When we resist, we are resisting our blessings.

God has a plan in our struggles. We may not see it in the beginning, but there is a definite blessing in it.

Stop resisting your blessings, trust God, and He will see you through.

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) – for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Pecking For Answers

Most of us live our lives like crows.  We peck at the opinions of others trying to find our way, and the answer to our questions. What we fail to realize is, the more opinions we receive, the more confused we become.

Our first response should be to Our Heavenly Father, where there is peace. We are to cast our cares on Him, ask Him what to do, acknowledge Him in all of our ways, so He can direct us.

Stop pecking around like crows, trying to find your way through others, when the answers are in your Father. He will guide you and tell you what to do.

Trust Him!

Psalm 71:1 (KJV) – in thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

I Corinthians 14:33 (KJV) – for God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Proverbs 3:6 (KJV) – in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

He Will Give It To You

God chose you and ordained you to feed his sheep.

When you don’t keep his word to yourself, but share it with others, He said; whatever you ask in Jesus name, He will give it to you.

John 15:16 (KJV) – ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

The Price You Pay

Compromising the truth can be more costly than we think.

When we take one small step into compromising, we take another and another, and soon those one small steps leads to a BIG price to pay.

Pay attention to compromising the truth. Although it may seem small at first, later, you’d wished you hadn’t compromise in the first place.

Don’t settle, and don’t compromise what you know to be true. Take control, for the price you pay can be for a lifetime.

Matthew 6:13 (KJV) – and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Proverbs 25:28 (KJV) – he that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
