Can You Just Stop Lying

People act like lying is optional, when it should never be. Some say, there’s nothing wrong with telling a little white lie. Have you ever seen the color of a lie?! I understand the saying, a little white lie is supposed to be something small, to the flesh of no significant value. But, all lies have value, which are consequences, and we shouldn’t do it.

Lying speaks LOUD, especially after you’ve been caught telling it, whether now or later.

When we lie, especially around our little ones, we are telling them, it’s okay to lie. We are telling them, you have an option to lie. But, when they lie to you — it’s not okay. We of fickle mind, make up your mind to know that lying is lying, and it’s not okay to do it.

If God is your personal Lord, and your personal savior, know that He will get you out of every circumstance, and the truth should always be told. I don’t recall in His word that it say, it’s okay to tell a lie (whether little or big, white or black) to get you out of any type of trouble.

Let the truth set you free!

Psalm 119:30 (KJV) – I have chosen the way of truth: they judgements have I laid before me.

Proverbs 12:19 (KJV) – the lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

John 8:32 (KJV) – and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Givers And Takers

Are you a giver or a taker? Are you in the line of always wanting to give? Or are you in the line of always wanting to take?

Some give because their heart is compelled to help someone in need. Some take, because they feel as though life owes them.

It is always better to give, then to receive. Your rewards are great to those that give. To those that are always taking, sooner or later, it will be taken from you. It may not be in the same form, but God’s word promises, we will reap what you have sown. Whether good or bad, it’s a guarantee.

Luke 6:38 (KJV) – give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Galatians 6:7 (KJV) – be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

25:23 (KJV) – his lord said unto him, well done, good and faithful servant, thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

I See You

Question. . . What you did or said last night, can you/would you do it or say it in front of God? Whether you know it or not . . . You did!

We have to remember we are role models, and we never know who we are influencing. Not everyone see and hear what you do or say, whether good or bad. But our Father see and hear everything you do and say.

We want to live our lives on the honest-system, but some don’t want to be honest. We believe we should get so much more than what we deserve. Everyone has they’re own scale of just-deserve. But, what most fail to realize is, God holds the scale of just-deserve. God sees it all, God knows all. He’s our justifier.

We have to be careful what we do and say not because of who may be influencing, but because God sees your every move.

Ecclesiastes 12:14 (KJV) – for God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Proverbs 15:3 (KJV) – the eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Did You Know

Did you know the Holy Spirit is your comforter, and your teacher, and reminds you whatever He told, so you do not forget his word? Did you know? He lives in you . . . forever. You can’t escape him! That’s a good thing!

John 14:26-17 (KJV) – and I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Doing The Right Thing

Why is it we try to find excuses to not do something we know is right. If God put something on your heart to do, we should do it.

When we don’t do what God ask of us, we are being disobedient, and keeping our blessings from flowing.

Do what’s right — you can’t go wrong. God blesses us every time!

Hebrews 13:21 (KJV) – make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

III John 11 (KJV) – beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

How Amazing

Have you ever truly wondered about how amazing God is? I mean, ever thought about some of the amazing things He has done, and the amazing things He will do?

Did you know, that God made darkness so thick, you could feel it? God made an ass (donkey) talk. When Moses died, God buried Moses, not man. And no one knows where Moses is buried unto this day. God made the trees talk. They had a conversation with one another.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t know no man that can do these things. Therefore, I’m putting my trust in God, and letting Him do amazing things in my life! I pray you do the same!

Exodus 10:21-22 (KJV) – and the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days.

Numbers 22:28 (KJV) – and the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Ba-laam, what have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?

Deuteronomy 34:5-6 (KJV) – so Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-poor; but no man knoweth of his sepulcher unto this day.

Judges 9:10-11 (KJV) – and the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, and reign over us. But the fig tree said unto them, should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?

Where Is Your Trust

When we try to do things in our own strength, we are not trusting God. When we take matters in our own hands, we are not trusting God.

We don’t know more than God, but we sure “act” like we do.

When we walk in the Spirit, we are putting our trust in God, and allowing the power that He has given us, that is within us, to work in us. We must believe that we can do all things through Christ. His word says so.

Mark 9:23-24 (KJV) – Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Luke 10:19 (KJV) – behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Philippians 4:13 (KJV) – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

My Way Is Right

In one area or another, we think our way is the right way. We believe we know what’s right for ourselves, as well as for others.

If it’s not God’s way, it’s the flesh, which is the wrong way. God is the way.

Proverbs 21:2 (KJV) – every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.

John 14:6 (KJV) – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Be Honest

Let’s practice being honest with ourselves, which will eventually make us honest with one another. And not repaying evil for evil toward one another. When someone does us wrong, we want to repay them with evil, and we want to tell others that we are going to repay the wrong that was done to us.

God wants us to be honest, and doesn’t want us to take matters into our own hands. He wants us to wait on him, and let Him save you. When we do that, God accepts the consequences.

II Corinthians 13:7 (KJV) – now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

Romans 12:17 (KJV) – recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Proverbs 20:22 (KJV) – say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the Lord, and he shall save thee.

Borrowing And Lending

We are to live our lives owing no man nothing. But, that is highly unlikely today. It is very rare that you run across someone that is debt-free.

We want this, we want that, not caring about the consequences of our spending habits. We just want! Which is where all the debt occurred.

But when we borrow, we are to pay back that which we have borrowed. Please note, the person you borrowed from, you have now become their servant. As long as you owe someone money, you are their servant. God’s word said it, I didn’t.

And when we lend, we will bug someone to know end, to get back that which we have loan. But, God’s word say, we shouldn’t expect it back (other than a lending institution) and our reward will be great.

So, when you borrow pay back your debt. And when you lend, don’t expect it back, so that you can receive your reward from our Father.

Romans 13:8 (KJV) – owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Proverbs 22:7 (KJV ) – the rich ruleth over the poor and the borrower is servant to the lender.

Luke 6:35 (KJV) – but love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
