The Fear Of Man

Do you fear man? Do you fear God? Do you do things to make sure you don’t offend man? Do you do things to make sure you don’t offend God? Who controls you? Man Or God?

Man does things to manipulate the circumstances to do what they want you to do, to have their way, to be in control. God is not a manipulator. He gives you free will to do what He ask. And yes, He is in control.

All of your life, you will choose to do what man say, and what God say. Every decision you make is based on something you’ve heard or read.

Make the right choice. Make the right decision. The truth is in God’s word. Accept the consequences for your choices. Either reap the benefits or suffer the consequences.

II Timothy 1:8 (KJV) – for God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but if power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Galatians 1:10 (KJV) – for do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

John 8:32 (KJV) – and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Why Me

Excerpt from Get It or Get Got. . . When we go through trials, most of us first ask questions like, why me? What did I do to deserve this? But how many times do we ask, what is God trying to tell me through this? Or do we look at it as part of God’s plan for us?

Everyone of us has or is living a life of disappointment, disbelief, amazement, helplessness, and fear, which will be a part of our lives until the day we meet our Heavenly Father . But there is peace, love, joy, laughter, and victory that will be a bigger part of our lives when we trust God. The difference in our circumstances is — how we go through them, which determines our destiny.

Ask our Father to guide your footsteps and He will. He’s waiting for you to ask him. He takes delight in supplying our every need and giving us the desires of our heart.

Romans 8:28 ( KJV) – and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Philippians 2:13 (KJV) – for it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do his good pleasure.

I Swear

When we say we’re going to do something, and back it up with a promise, it’s giving the person we promised, assurance that we will do it. But, when we swear to it, that’s without a doubt, we will keep our promise.

Why do we swear at all? Usually it’s because we have put doubt in someones head, from something we said we would do, and didn’t do it. Let us practice daily, to stand to our word. To do what we say. Let your no be no, and your yes be yes.

Matthew 5:34-37 (KJV) – but I say unto you, Swear not at all: neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne: nor by earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be yea, yea; nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Shhhh

You hit the lottery from a $5 ticket you purchased. You got an extra $10 in change from your purchase. You claimed someone on your tax return with their permission and received a bigger return. With each of these, some would say, God has blessed them.

Playing the lottery is not God’s plan for the money He has governed you with. The extra money you receive is not a blessing, but a test of your faith to do the right thing and give it back. The person you claim on your tax return, even with permission, is deception, a lie. Trying to increase in your own strength is not trusting God. None of these are of God.

Shhhhhh, man may not see everything we do — oops, but God’s sees it all. There are consequences for our actions in everything we do. God doesn’t punish us, but our actions has consequences, whether good or bad. Therefore, whichever choice you choose, that is who rules over you, either God or satan.

Make the right choices by praying before you act.

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 13:11 (KJV) – wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labor shall increase.

Jeremiah 32:19 (KJV) – great in counsel, and mighty in work, for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Romans 6:16 (KJV) – know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Get The Best Deal

We all love deals and discounts. But some deals and discounts are not good.

The flesh will work out a deal with satan, and not realize it. Whatever deal satan has to offer is a cheap, but expensive deal. Satan will provoke you, little by little, to make you believe what “it” is, is truly what you want. But once you except the deal, it becomes very costly to you and most of the time, to your loved ones as well. Don’t let a deal cheat you from receiving your blessings.

Learning to walk in the Spirit, with the Father, is what keeps satan off of you. Learn to focus on God, so that satan gets smaller and smaller. When you focus on satan, God gets smaller. Whatever you focus on gets BIGGER. Therefore, focus on God.

Galatians 5:16 (KJV) – this I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Listen To Yourself

Excerpt from Get It or Get Got! You always have a choice, regardless of your responsibilities. Only you are responsible for the choices in your life. You have no one else to blame except yourself, whether good or bad, for the choices you make. Accountability shows integrity; therefore, be accountable.

The same good advice you give to someone, listen to yourself and take your own advice. Remember, this is your life, not someone else’s. You’re the only one who has to live your life and live with it.

We must know the power that is within us. The only power people have over us is what we give them.

Luke 10:19 (KJV) – behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Our Father In Heaven

Our Father wants us to pray for what we want. He wants his children to come to Him in prayer for our request.

Sometimes, we don’t know what to pray for. But, in our praying we should always ask in the name of Jesus. We can only get to the Father through Jesus Christ.

Therefore, after praying, and if you don’t know what to pray for, our Father said to say: Matthew 6:913 (KJV) – after this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

John 14:13-14 (KJV) – and whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

A Door No Man Can Shut

When we do what God ask us to do, and not deny his name, He rewards us.

When God opens a door for us, no man can shut that door. Man can not take away something that God has given us.

Revelation 3:8 (KJV) – I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
