Sowing And Reaping For 2019

Throughout the day, our life’s journey gives us opportunities. Either we take them or we won’t. There are good opportunities and there are bad opportunities. We have to choose which to accept and which not to accept.

The opportunity of giving a helping hand to someone, giving to someone in need, or giving of your time, is a great opportunity to accept. But, the opportunity of judging, condemning and criticizing others is not a good opportunity to accept.

In either case, we must remember that whatever we do to others, we’re doing it to ourselves, because it will come back to us later. Whether good or bad. Therefore be reminded, the way you want someone to treat you, treat them that same way.

Matthew 7:1-2 (KJV) – judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Galatians 6:7 (KJV) – be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Matthew 7: 12 (KJV) – therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Increase

More, more, more. We all want more. God’s word say, we can have more. But we must do what it takes to get more.

Honoring our Father by giving the first of what we have to Him, and He will fill you with plenty, abundance.

Proverbs 3:9-10 (KJV) – honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: so shall thy barnes be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

New Year, New Promises

It’s that time of the year when many make resolutions, promises that are kept, and promises that are not. Have you considered the promises of God as your new year’s resolution? Have you considered your resolutions to have long life, peace, and to have good understanding with God and man?

You can! His word says so! Add the promises of God to your 2019 resolutions, and see your best blessed year unfold! He promised. Our God can not lie.

Proverbs 3:1-4 (KJV) – my son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments; for length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: so shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Do You Believe

Do you believe you are saved? Some don’t know if they are saved or not. Some ask, how do I get saved. Some don’t believe they can be saved.

It is God’s will that we all be saved. But it is our choice. If we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, we will be saved. If we call on the name of the Lord, we will be saved.

That sounds easy — right? Well, some find that very hard to do, but it’s the truth.

Call upon the Lord and save yourself, if you haven’t.  If you have, save others whom you believe are crying out to be saved. You are not only saving them from death, but hiding a multitude of sins.

The Bible doesn’t say you have to be licensed to convert someone to Christ to save them.

Romans 10:9 – 11 (KJV) – that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Romans 10: 13 (KJV) – for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

James 5:20 (KJV) – let Him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

May 2019 be your best blessed year!

Happy New Year!

How Strong Are You

Doing the right thing is not being weak, it’s being strong!

It takes more effort, more courage, and more strength, to do what’s right.

Every test has a reward if u pass it.

Tap into the inner man so that you are able to be strong through any storm. The strength of the flesh is weak, but the strength of the inner man, the power within us, provided by our Father is stronger than you can imagine.

We are strong in our Father. We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.

Joshua 1:9 (KJV) – have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Philippians 4:13 (KJV) – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Think About It

Learning to pause before our actions is hard to do in some instances, but it is possible.

Pausing allows us to think before we make a decision, before we act. Time to think about being obedient to God.

Getting into something in secret, and of the flesh is a red flag within itself and has everything that says, do not do it. Not to mention, the consequences of the flesh is guaranteed and costly. Practicing to obey God and leaving the consequences to Him; is hard, but far more rewarding.

Ecclesiastes 12:14 (KJV) – for God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Romans 6:23 (KJV) – for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) – but without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

James 1:19-20 (KJV) – wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Eyes Of Faith

Most often, we live our lives based on what we see and what we hear. Our first reaction to what we have seen or heard is of the flesh. Very seldom, do we react on faith first. After we have tormented ourselves, we stop and realize, to walk by faith, to believe and trust God regardless of what we have see, and what we have heard.

Not “everything” we see or hear is what it seems. Most of us have heard; “if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, sounds like a duck . . it’s a duck”. Again, everything is not always what it seems. If it looks like a duck, it might not be a duck.

We are quick to assume, quick to speak, quick to anger, and slow to listen. When we should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. We argue over issues with the hope that man can and will open our eyes to the truth. That’s where we fail. God knows all, God sees all. Therefore, we are to trust God to open our eyes to the truth.

We are not to walk in the flesh, but in the Spirit. We are to walk by faith. Well, how do we do that? By trusting God for what we see and hear. See everything as coming from God, not man. Man will fail you. We can’t trust ourselves, we fail ourselves.

When we walk in the Spirit and walk by faith, we are trusting God, not ourselves, and not man. Trust God by walking by faith, not what we see, and let God open our eyes to the truth.

James 1:19 (KJV) – wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath

II Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) – for we walk by faith, not by sight

Our World, Our Prayers

God did not intend for us to live on an island, to be to ourselves. We are not gifted to keep our gifts to ourselves. We are here for one another, just like God is for all, and in all.

People all over the world are in need of prayer for one reason or another. Let’s take a moment and pray for our loved ones, those we know, and those we do not personally know, that are in need. Let’s pray for those who have been affected by the tsunami in Indonesia. Pray for strength to those who are saving lives, for those who are fighting for their lives, and for those who are hoping to find lost loved ones. Pray for those who are suffering, who can’t find a way. Use your gift of prayer, for prayer changes things. Pray . . . Pray . . . Pray.

This is our world, we need our prayers. If we don’t, then who?

John 15:7 (KJV) – if ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Ephesians 4:5 (KJV) – one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

Thank You

When someone gives us something, most often, we say thank you, which is a gesture of appreciation.

This is a time to give thanks for the birth of Jesus, who our Father, gave His only Son for us so that we may live. Jesus gave his life for you, and for me. No greater gift is there than this.

As you give to, and receive from others this holiday season, remember to give thanks to our Father, as everything is from God.

James 1:17 (KJV) – Every good gift and every prefect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and yours!
