Our Choices

You always have a choice, regardless of your responsibilities. Only you are responsible for the choices in your life. You have no one else to blame except yourself, whether good or bad, for the choices you make. Accountability shows integrity; therefore, be accountable.

The same good advice you give to someone, listen to yourself and take your own advice. Remember, this is your life, not someone else’s. You’re the only one who has to live your life, and live with it.

We must know the power that is within us. The only power people have over us is what we give them.

Luke 10:19 (KJV) – behold, I give unto you power to trend on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

What’s Up With Prayer

When prayers go up, blessings come down! When you pray, believe and you shall receive. Mark 11:24 (KJV) – therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Prayer should be a part of your daily life, like breathing. Before picking up your phone to text someone or to check out social media, talk to our Heavenly Father, who woke you up. Give Him thanks!

You. . . did not wake you up, our Heavenly Father did that. Give Him a few minutes of your time in the morning, each day, before you get yourself into something you pray God will get you out of.

We have a tendency to depend on others first — our first mistake. We must learn to reach out to our Father in prayer, first. Who knows all, and sees all.

It’s not easy breaking habits, but this is a good habit to have! You can do it! Call on our Heavenly Father in prayer and let Him be your guide for the day. Let Him protect your family and friends for the day. Let Him get you where you need to be without incident.

Prayer changes things. Do it daily, and you’ll see, what’s up with prayer!!

Strong In The Struggle

When you go through the struggles of life, it’s not meant to knock you down, tear you apart, or leave you in a state of depression. But the struggle is to build you up, build your faith, stretch your faith, and make you wiser.

It’s not easy, but thank God through the struggle, and be convicted in what you do and do not want. Most of all, allow the Holy Spirit to fill you, and to guide you to help others.

Be strong in the struggle, obedient to God, and you’ll come out a winner, every time!

Word is Bond

What is your word worth? Can your word be trusted? Can you stand behind what you say? Keep it real. . .is your word bond?

God’s word is bond. Whatever He speaks, it is done.

You’re word is your bond. If you’re that person that constantly does not stand on your own word, you look bad, and believe it or not, you’re not trusted. You’re constantly doubted by others. You may be a good person with good intentions, but when your word fails, you fail. Be accountable and start doing what you say, from the smallest of things, to the larger. From, I’ll call you back, and do it, to, I’ll be there, and show up.

Practice on your word, and do what you say. Commit to yourself first, then you’ll be able to commit to others.

Because God said it, because God said it, because God said it. . .it is done. God spoke it, and it was done.

Do I know me

Do you really know who you are? When asked, who are you, can you truly identify yourself?

Until we are comfortable with others, we walk around as a representative. Someone we partially are. The careful self. Once we’re comfortable, the not-so careful self appears. The person you think you really are.  But still, not all of you.

It’s time to take off the extra layer of self, and let God introduce you to yourself. You’ve been walking around with you for years, and you still don’t know you. God knows who you are. But, you don’t. Really. . .you don’t. We think we know ourselves. We even make the statement, “I know who I am” or ” I know me”. But do you?

The Bible says, we should examine ourselves, but most of us don’t care to do that. When we examine ourselves, God reveals to us, that which does not belong within us, like jealousy, procrastination, lack of patience, Mr. or Mrs. know-it-all.   Psalms 139: 23-24 (KJV) – Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.  When you speak this to our Father, He will reveal to you the things that do not belong in you. But, you have to make the decision to do something about your revelation.  We will live our whole life, and never know all of who we really are, if we don’t let God in, and do what only He can do.

Read Psalms 139: 23-24, and watch our Father peel away the layers of self.  The longer you hide behind yourself, the longer it will take to reveal the true you, your gifts, your talents, and your purpose, which is not for you, but for the glory of God.

Let God bless you exceeding abundantly more than you could ever think or imagine!

You Have Authority

God has given you authority. 2 Corinthians 10:8 (KJV) – For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed.

We look for God to show up, to do things that He has given us to do. God has a part, and we have a part. God’s part is grace, which is what He has given us. Something we have done nothing to earn. Our part is faith, to believe and trust our Father, in everything.

God has already moved and done his part. He has given you authority to move and do your part. Therefore, know that God is waiting on you, to do what you are looking for him to do.

Every child of God has a covenant, a promise with God. The ball is in your court. . .move with authority!

What’s in Your Future

Do you know, what you speak determines your destiny? Do you know, what you speak is either blessings or cursing? Do you know, what you speak is either life or death?

We sometimes hinder our blessings because we don’t believe we deserve it, or it can’t happen to or for us. If we believe someone else could or should have it, then why not you?!  You are just as deserving.

Speak your future and your blessings into existence.  Speak those things as though they were.

When you pray for it, speak it. You want joy, speak it! You want marriage, speak it! You want a job, speak it! You want abundance, speak it! Once you’ve spoken it, continue to speak it, continue to believe it, continue to do it, continue to live it!

Believe in you! God does!

Romans 4:17 (KJV) – . . . And calleth those things which be not, as though they were.

Where is your faith

We’ve heard many say, you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Yes you can! Believe in you, and have faith in God.

James 2:26 (KJV) – For as the body without the Spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. God has given you power, but it doesnt work without faith. The bible says, if you have as much faith as a mustard seed, you can move mountains, and nothing shall be impossible to you. But, you must believe.

Matthew 17:20 (KJV) – And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

All you need is a little bit of faith, to move you forward. If you’re struggling with your belief,  just say to our Father; “Father,  I believe,  help my unbelief “, and He will.

Our faith should not stand in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Temptation

There are so many different areas in our lives in which we are tempted. Some we may not be aware of.

We are tempted when asked or provoked into doing something we don’t want to do. If your answer is not promising to the other party, they use tactics to convince you to change your mind, to side with their decision. Or, you just may be tempted by something or someone that does not belong to you. When you have given in, some of those temptations are costly and life changing, which can affect you, your life, and those in your circle of life.

Jesus was tempted, but he did not give in. We can be that way as well. We have a choice to tap into the power that is within us, to use it, and conquer. The one with the strongest power will always win. Because greater is he that is in you, then he that is in the world (1 John 4:4 – KJV). Remember, it’s never between you and the other person, its between you and God.

Ephesian 6:10 – ….Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

1 Corinthians 10:13 – There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

James 1:13-14 – Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
