It’s Simple

We want good things to happen to us, and for our loved ones. But we don’t always know how to make that happen. It’s simple, but yet we make it so hard. Give it to God! Whatever it is, He wants us to give it to him. God has made so many promises to us, which is the truth, and we don’t know how to take advantage of it.

In one of God’s many promises, He said, if you trust in Him with all your heart, and don’t depend on yourself, acknowledge God, and He will direct you in the way you should go. Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. When you’re obedient to God, He will reward you.

Take one step, one day at a time and trust God. Let Him tell you how to receive the good He has for you. If you fail, try again. It’s simple. Trust God.

Roller Coasters

Some of us like roller coaster rides! The joy of standing it line for the 2-5 minute ride then, sometimes getting back in line to enjoy the thrill, the excitement, the split seconds of fear, knowing it’s not going to last but for a moment! But, there are those, who do not like roller coaster rides, but choose to do something so much more fun or daring!

What about the roller coaster rides of life? There are no lines, and the thrill, excitement and fear of it last so much longer than a few split seconds, but for hours, days, weeks, months, and some, even years. What’s the thrill in that!? Some of those rides we prefer to get back in line and enjoy them again, and some of those rides we don’t ever want to go back on again.

Most of the times, these are emotional roller coaster rides. Up one day, down the next. And we allow these rides to dictate our emotions. We’re happy when things are going right, our way. Then we’re sad, or disappointed when things are not going our way.

We have to learn to keep our eyes fixed on God, not the circumstances, which will give us a peace and a joy that is not understandable to man, regardless of what’s going on.

Trust our Father to bring you joy and peace, not your circumstances. Some of use have been on the roller coaster of life so long, we don’t know how to get off. There have been many times when our Father has opened a door to help us get off that roller coaster, but we’ve been on it so long, we don’t know if that’s an opportunity to get off, or just look at the open door. Some of our roller coasters have so long a drop, we’re wondering when it’s going to go back up.

We will go through roller coaster rides all of our lives, but we don’t have to let our circumstances dictate our ride, nor let the ride last longer than it should. We can control the ride by the power within us, the promises God has made to us, and speaking those things into existence. Let’s change our thinking and pay attention to what God is offering us. Ask our Father in prayer, and He will show you. But…you have to listen.

Compare Yourself To Noone

We have a tendency to compare ourselves with others. We are who we are, regardless of built, looks, size and age. If we can stop comparing ourselves with others, and love who we are in our own skin, we can lose that low self-esteem attitude.

Love you, and know who you are! God made you. He didn’t make anyone like you. That’s the miracle and beauty of it. Of all the billions and billions of people, God made you like no one else. You are fearfully and wonderfully made! Know it and own it!

I Choose God (ICG)

When you’re at a fork in the road to make a decision, do you go with your gut? Do you do what the majority does? Do you pray on it, and do what you believe God is telling you? Or do you get advise from your friends?

We have all been there. We go with our gut instinct, do what the majority does, pray but do our own thing, call our friends, and hope the choice we make is the right one. We even pray we made the right decision after we have taken action on our own choice.

No, we all are not on the same spiritual level. Some of us are just beginning to take that leap of faith by trusting God. Some of us have faith, but still wavering. Going back and forth with letting God handle some of our circumstances. And there are some of us who’s faith is on a level that we can’t understand how they can surrender their choices, their will, their desires to God. Well, it’s a matter of choosing God, or choosing self.

I am learning to choose God over myself and others. I understand and I am learning more that God knows my heart better than I do. Therefore, I choose God (ICG). Most importantly, I’m praying that I choose Him, more and more.

Let’s choose God more in our decisions, starting today!! Therefore, when you get to that fork in the road, choose to say….I CHOOSE GOD… ICG!! You cannot go wrong, and you will definitely be blessed!

Blessings to you reader!

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) – trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Watch Your Mouth

We seem to think that we can say, whatever we what. Why? Because we’re grown and no one is the boss of us. Think again. Our Father hears and see everything we say and do. We are to honor God with our actions, our attitude, and what we say.

We can tell someone we love them one minute, and with the same mouth, tearing them down with words of cursing, hate, and destruction. It happens so often, it has lost it’s sting of consciousness. James 3:10 (KJV) – out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Be quick to listen, not quick to speak. You never know the damage and life-long affect you have on someone because of the harsh words you spoke. James 1:19 (KJV) – wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.

Learn to watch your mouth, and see the difference. You can’t lose doing the right thing!

Does It Matter

Live your life on purpose, with purpose! Not just as a survivor, but VICTORIOUS! You are more than a conqueror!

Start with your thinking, then with your actions. Know that you matter, and so does your actions.

You never know who’s watching you, and who you’re influencing. So you see — it does matter. Live…on…purpose!

Roll with God

When you roll with God, He will roll with you. James 4:8 (KJV) – draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

If you kick it with God, He got yo’ back — every time! He will tell you secrets, show you favor, open doors for you that no man can shut, pour you out blessings upon blessings, give you a peace within that no man can understand, never leave you, never lie to you, and never do you wrong.

Unfortunately, man cannot offer or give you that.

Chose to roll with God, check out His word, kick it with Him in prayer, and find out who your BFF truly is.
