Do It To God

What you have done to others, whether good or bad, you have already done to yourself. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

From this moment forward, do everything as unto the Lord, because everything you do, is between you and God.

Galatians 6:7-8 (KJV) – be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Matthew 7:12 (KJV) – therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Colossians 3:23 (KJV) – and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.

God Is Not Condemning You

In the scripture, the woman that was caught in the act of adultery was called an adulterer by those who accused her. But Jesus forgave her, set her free, and told her not to sin no more. They brought her to Jesus as an adulterer, but she left as a forgiven child of God.

We have this misconception that God will not forgive us, nor bless us because of our past.

God made you, and knows your every move. There is nothing surprising to God about you that He doesn’t know. He knew what you were going to do before you were born. Ask God for forgiveness, forgive yourself, and repent from whatever it is that is holding you captive in condemnation.

John 8: 10-11 (KJV) – when Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go and sin no more.

Help Me

How much of yourself do you give to others? When you see someone in need, do you provide for them?

Don’t think too hard and long when it comes to helping others less fortunate. Whenever you help someone, you have done it to God.

Matthew 25:35-40 (KJV) -for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat. I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink! Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Let Him

God can do exceeding abundantly more than we ask or think. All we have to do is ask.

Why don’t you let him?

Ephesians 3:20 (KJV) – now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

John 14:14 (KJV) – if ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Did You Know

Do you know how awesome our God is? There is none like him. There are so many awesome wonders in the word of God, like:

  • He made a donkey talk
  • He made the darkness so thick you could feel it
  • He let Moses see his back

What makes you think he can’t answer your prayers? Read His word for yourself. He speaks, and it is so.

I Samuel 2:2 (KJV) – there is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

Numbers 22:28 (KJV) – and the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Ba’-laam, What have I done unto thee, that thou had smitten me these three times?

Exodus 10:21 (KJV) – and the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.

Exodus 33: 20-24 (KJV) – and he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock; and it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: and I will take away mine hand, and thou shall see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

What’s That Smell

When we live in bitterness, anger and not letting go of past hurts, we are living our lives in a stinky atmosphere, which hinders our blessings, and keeps others from wanting to be around us.

Most of us can’t tell we’re carrying a smell because we haven’t examined ourselves. Take whatever it is to God, and let him reveal to you what that smell is. He can and will restore what has been broken, remove past hurts, and take away that smell that once kept you from smelling like a rose.

II Corinthians 13:5 (KJV) – examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Love

Love one another as God loves us.

God’s word say, if we love God, and hate our brother, we are a liar.

Forgive and love your brother, and love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.

John 5:12 (KJV) – this is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

I John 4:20 (KJV) – if a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Mark 12:30 (KJV) – and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Believe In You

You are braver than you believe, and stronger than you know.

Believe in you!

Joshua 1:9 (KJV) – have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Romans 8:37 (KJV) – nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Just Wait

Patience. So many of us lack patience. We just don’t have the patience to be patient. We want it right now.

Most of us don’t want to ask for patience because we know that if and when we do, God is going to surround us with opportunities to test our patience. But, there are blessings in being patient. Importantly, we miss so many blessings when we don’t wait, especially when we don’t wait for God.

Just wait on God, and prepare to be in awe, what he has prepared for you, just because you waited on Him.

Isaiah 64:4 (KJV) – for since the beginning of the world, men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
